First time playing against her had my level 23 Croconaw facing her Milktank. It was neck and neck for Rage and Rollout evenly but seeing as how my pokemon was faster, I was sure that he was going to win. Then cue her Milktank using fucking attract and causing my Croconaw to be struck dumb with love. After, she rolled him and pretty much everyone else on my team.

I left my gold alone for a good long time after that. ;__;

 

Pussy. Did I back down when Silver's Bayleef mowed down my Totodile viciously back in Azalea Town? No! I absorbed the exp from stomping the rest of his team, and endured four more losses besides, until my Totodile evolved and ate that bitch for lunch!

And never again did I fear loss, even against Whitney and her sodding cow! I grew all the more potent for snatching victory from the jaws of defeat at last, and so should you!

 

Whoa, whoa, whoa, you actually let your team get wiped? Whiting out is the greatest shame a Pokemon Trainer can suffer.

Real men kill level 2 sentrets on route 101 until their starter is level 40, then proceed to win the game. It's a time tested strategy for every gym, especially whitney.
Also if you taught your Feraligatr ice punch to troll through Meganium and the plethora of dragons, you're a little bitch. Real men used typhlosion or slashed their way through little bitch dragons.

 

I'm amused you still had a Totodile by Azalea town. Little dude evolved after I wiped the floor with Team Rocket and saved all them bropokes. :awesome

I should know better by now than to try and run my e-mouth.

Ahem.

Swifter net gain on EXP at the time. The concept of grinding for experience to an eleven year old was essentially alien, so it was either keep at it until I won, or reset and try a different strategy - the piddly amount of points gained from the usual encounters available just weren't cutting it.

I don't recall what I did after that or against Lance, but I will admit to facing him down in the gen2 remakes the first time through with a level 48 Typhlosion as the only surviving member(protip, Lance has four Full Restores. And he will use them on his Charizard every single time).

I've attempted this twice, once with Cyndaquil on SS and later Tepig on White, and after about level 20 it really isn't worth it. After the first evolution I'm usually just glad to move on already.

 

Took me a second to see he took his bike.

 

Those two are now my favouritest people in the whole world.
