I too wish to see more Yvonne Strahovski in this series, mostly because I think it would be hilarious for her to get into a relationship with Dexter and then find out his secret, leading to her realization that she her 'type' is serial killers.

Since she's signed on for 10 episodes at least and it's confirmed she's the new love interest, it isn't out of the question.

Louis is dead? I was looking forward to more of his impotent rage as Dexter hazed the shit out of him while Louis did his best to prove he's a big boy. Of course, I also cheered when he got straight up headshotted.

Dexter is a fucking idiot. If a man is willing to spend a non trivial amount of time trying to fuck your life up because you refused to help him with a game what do you think he'll do when you take both his girlfriend and his job away? When you've maximised the time and hatred he can draw on to hurt you? It would be fine in general but he's a FUCKING SERIAL KILLER! He can't afford obsessive,Doakes-ish behavior around him. Either way, he's now fucked because I'm sure they left some evidence behind.

I love how Isaak didn't bother fooling himself.He immediately jumped to the best conclusion. He's terribly pragmatic

I'm curious as to why they focused on the blood that fell on Dexter's boat when that guy was shot. Maybe it will complicate things for Dexter later on.

I think the blood will just help Dexter piece together the clues of what happened on his boat. Hopefully he finds out that they are after him before they find him.

 

He didn't have to kill an innocent person, he could have just left it alone. What he did was basically pour gasoline on a slow burning fire that wasn't really a threat.

Well, he kind of 'was' a threat. Snooping on Dexter's computer, sending him the hand, and I think there was a mention of the guy placing child pornography on his bosses computer(Or did I imagine that?) He was obsessed with Dexter, and it was only a matter of time before he knew the truth. Was he an immediate threat? Maybe not, but I think Dexter was bored. It was obvious that Louis was not right in the head and the problem would escalate; but maybe that was what Dexter was hoping for. Dexter was starting to see blood.

 

Like I said before, I think main plot of the season will be centered around Hannah.

Strahovski is contracted for 10 episodes (Yes I know that Wikipedia isn't any official source, but still)- she first appeared in number 3, so she should be till the end of the season. I think that she was probably the killer, dominating personally in this duo with the guy who jumped in front of the truck.

 

What do y'all mean who is Harrison? he's Dex's son. Season is epic so far and Dex+Sarah the romantic adventures will rock, I'm a big Strahovski fan ever since I started watching Chuck in its second season.

 

The question was where is Harrison during all this. Dexter moves to Debra's and suddenly he has no kid?

 

And if the guy was a threat you basically antagonize him after he's proven that he takes even the smallest insults to heart? Yeah, Dexter is a total idiot. Never wound what you can't kill.

 

You forget that dexter basically dismissed him as a threat when he found out how petulant he was. He just needed him outside of his life. Plus dexter didn't have any freedom from Deb when he enacted that plan so that was the best he could do while Deb was on his arse.

 

I just assume that he is at his kindergarten half of the time and with Jamie the other half of the time.
I'm not sure what exactly Dexter tells her when he takes off for a couple of days.

Does she belief he has to work 80+ hours a week?

 

Good episode all around, the development between Dexter and Deb is coming along nicely, the douche is finally gone although he died in such a way that will cause Dexter trouble without end.

My friend's reaction to this was interesting. She immediately jumped to the conclusion that Dexter is going to get busted for killing that guy and not any of the murders that he's actually committed. She's probably not right since season 8 is already planned but then again season 8's supposed to be the last one and they could be starting to set it up early.

I am not a fan of he Hannah hook up at all. But Isaak being out of prison should liven up what has been a dull couple of episodes.

 

Harrison was sent off to his grandparents a few episodes back.
