I honestly don't get how that would work out past a few games. If one side keeps winning ELO, the other side will lose it. As soon as the difference is large enough, there aren't THAT few teams that they would still paly each other.

 

Ya only need to get high once for reward. Get one team to plat then shuffle around who reaches it.

 

Sounds like it would eat too much time, since you have a 30 minute wait between games...

Honestly, most of the teams in placement are terrible. If i could get 2 other people on skype for 1-2 hours, we'd all be gold in no time. Can you call mias? Play a champ with moblitity/tankiness? Know how to chain CC? You win!

 

Play game, have fun, troll if u want, 20 min in surrender.

I would be, but i'm 200 elo below you, so it may be kind of pointless (we may face some weirdness with the elo) but i capped at 1250, so I know i'm better than that. The trolls man. The trolls.

I have yet to play a single ranked game and as such I have no idea what my ELO is supposed to be, but I would be happy to duo with you Jon, especially since I've also been planning on trying to get gold for this season. Odds are I'll try to get jungle amumu in as many games as I can because holy shit is he OP, especially since nobody ever expects you to steal buffs with him

If you just run what you see guides/pros tell you to, this is a good video to watch to gain some understanding of why people pick what they do. It's explained very well, much better than any time I've attempted to. On the rune version video, it's 44 minutes. The first part is for AD carries, around 15 I think starts AP carries, then it covers supports and after that I assume junglers. He covers 4-6 rune pages per role, it's funny how in depth his support rune pages are in, like a 27 armor/3gp10 page that he uses vs taric/blitz/leona where he knows he could die early as sona/janna.

 

This double IP weekend thing is fucking awesome. I've gained 1500 ip so far, and I've lost a few games.

This is one of my most hilarious games ever. Totally random. It started out as Me, Vlad and Zyra all fighting over mid. But halfway through someone said 'ALL MID'... and we all picked an AP carry... then someone said 'ALL TELEPORT'.. and we ALL went flash teleport.

The game started out lulzy. We invaded their blue and stole in, then ganked Karthus in mid. But he juked FOUR of us. Saving his flash till the perfect moment to get away.

After that we split up. Vlad and Morg went top, Fizz stayed mid, while Zyra and I went bottom.

We honestly expected to lose, really. It was a terrible idea, little synergy, none of us were premade, spur of the moment, and two people had the wrong runes, I think.

We crushed them. In one of the most awesome and hilarious games of my life, we absolutely stomped them. Akali/Leona bot was scary and difficult, but they kept staying after they killed us, and I'd TP back and pick up a kill afterwords. Keeping me basically even till near the end of the game.

I played terribly, but it was still fun. My positioning was shit, and I kept getting caught between Dead Karthus and a Tower while I was low on health.

The other team was rather angry that they got rolled by a total troll team.

Only one of them bought any MR at all.

Moral of this story?

Randoms are Bad, ANYTHING can work, so long as you have the TEAMWORK to pull it off.
