So...much...facepalm. So many feels from this anime, but I nearly spend more time rolling my eyes than not.

The action scenes are amazing and the characters themselves are funny/quirky without going completely over the top. There are some very serious tones mixed in throughout, but it tries to remain upbeat even during the violent scenes. While this does sometimes put the dialogue at odds with the scene, you never forget that they're in the middle of doing something morally reprehensible, so it doesn't really detract.

    Fucking lol. The synopsis says:

So in a more realistic (i.e. non-anime) setting, he'd have to wipe her ass for her. But this is anime. Being fucking retarded is supposed to be endearing. It's moe.

That said, I'm watching it for the plot.

    :awesome

This was good and I liked it a lot. I'd heard some people panning the inconsistent art/animation quality, but I thought it was awesome. I think I'm gonna pick up the manga if the show keeps my interest for another couple episodes.

This was...shockingly good. I surprised myself by even considering watching it, but I'm glad I did. For a schoolgirl romance anime, Mei is surprisingly cynical. And I say that and not emo. It puts her characterization in a good place. She's not mopey or angsty because of her situation. No, she's just a loner. But then, being the mystery she is, the school bishounen takes an interest in her and things roll from there.

My friend gave me shit when I told him I'm watching this, but it's just too cute! That, and the design team is the group that worked on Infinite Stratos, so it looks great. In or out of battle, the animation and overall design is what I want from a "robot combat" anime.

These fighting robots just so happen to be 15cm tall, distinctly female-looking, and call their people 'master.' Oh, Japan...

As for all the rest, I haven't picked up any others yet. I plan adding Shinsekai Yori, Robotics;Note, and Psycho-Pass to my list, but I want to wait and see if I drop any (like trollface-Chuunibyou) before I pick up even more.

So someone actually green-lit an Anime about the Console Wars. (Aoi Sekai no Chuushin De)

It's really bad. That said, the concept is hilarious, it might cross over into So Bad It's Good territory eventually.

Favorite anime of the season is funnily enough Chuunibyou-something-something. It's hilarious.

    Anastasia is an epic troll.

And there was much rolling on the floor, laughing out loud.

So this has been bothering me every time I scroll past. How in the hell do you pronounce Animeeshon, is it like it's spelled with a long "E" or is it a long "A" sound?

    An-ih-mee-shone?

    or

    An-ih-may-shone?

ah-knee-may-shown, ideally without any stress on any syllable.

So it's the Japanese pronunciation, I see.
