    Registration is open again after more than a month of being offline.

    New members will register into a probationary group known as "Hogwarts Applicants." After an undisclosed period of time or worthy contributions they will become Registered Users.

    Hogwarts Applicants members have somewhat restricted access to the site and several pieces of functionality that have the potential to disrupt site operations.

    Please be advised, if you are found to be a negatively contributing member you may end up as an Applicant again.

    Someone managed to make Raven of all people angry. You don't see that every day.

    I believe this is a good idea, hopefully it'll stop the constant spambots. I do believe that with the rego closed we avoided the little bits of downtime that would regularly happen and result in timeouts, anyone still getting those?

    Hey, Just a few quick questions. How do you find out if your a Hogwarts applicant? If you are a hogwarts applicant what type of restrictions are put into place? And, wow I don't think I've ever seen the moderators rage like that.

    His argument, stupid as it may be, was that it would somehow scare away people that would donate to help support the forum and website.

    Because somehow being a member = automatically donating.

    He also seemed to be operating under the misconception that dlp is floated only by donations.

    or something like that. that's what I got out his little post there.
