Well all the other bijuu were artificially created by the Sage. That can be why they all have something of an animal appearance. The Juubi has its own natural form.

 

The Amoeba sounds like an appropriate enough label for the Juubi's current form, perhaps.

We don't know anything else, and given how long its been, it is indeed possible that Kishi has forgotten about it.

 

Doesn't he talk about rasenshuriken? or more precisely an element infused with rasengan? it was after all before Naruto started to master the technique and we know that Minato tried to master higher forms of rasengan...

 

I got the feeling that the Juubi wasn't supposed to look like anything. It seems like it's more of a primordial being that pre-dates all other creatures and it would look as such.

A quick check at the wikia shows that since the Juubi was revived imperfectly--minus Hachibi and Kyuubi--it doesn't look like it's supposed to. The shifting persona must be due to being incomplete.

How did Itachi know that Shisui's Mangekyou mind control technique needed ten years to recharge? Shisui and Itachi were around the same age, and unless Shisui was some super badass toddler that unlocked his MS after his parents made him get rid of his imaginary friend, when would he have gotten the chance to use it twice before he died?

Possibly from the Uchiha scroll thing that could only be read by the MS? Maybe it details some of the possible MS techniques.

Also it looks like the Sharingan can copy MS techniques from Kakashi copying Obito's Kamui implementation, might it be possible that Sasuke copied Amaterasu from Itachi? On that note, might Sasuke have copied Izanagi and Izanami from Danzo and Itachi?

What's the bet that EMS means Sasuke doesn't have to sacrifice his eyes to do those techniques?

 

I don't think so. I think that MS eyes can only use certain jutsu. Kakashi and Obito just happened to have the same jutsu and Kakashi maybe have copied how his is used. Sasuke was said to have had Itachi's MS jutsu implanted into him but I don't know if I believe that.

Sasuke may have copied the kinjutsu but I don't see how EMS would mean that he wouldn't need to sacrifice his eyes for them. I doubt Madara would have lost even to Hashirama if he could freely alter reality. If he got the rinnegan then sure since the Sage apparently used Izanagi without such problems. I think that Madara's meteor jutsu may be an offensive application of Izanagi.

So this is how it resolves due to new data being given to be about the "new jutsu"
1. Deus Ex Machina: Orochimort and Sasuke come up with some bullshit
2. Plotkai: Naruto gets a random boost out of nowhere and instantly masters everything he was "destined to".
3. Ultra Nerf- Madara gets cast down from his throne of epic because of... meh kishimoto will figure out a way
4. Idiot mode- Why madara didn't do a large scale shinra tensei like pain is beyond me, all the fail batallion would get obliterated. I could also go on forever about how the juubi is not what it's cranked up to be.
5. Pure bullshit- If the fail battalion is actually useful against the ROOT OF ALL EVIL and the guy who has infinite chakra and is immortal(for the moment)
Besides those I cannot see them win this ever so I'm safe to say I will be very upset the next few chapers.

 

Root of all evil? I think the Juubi was described as the root of all chakra(life). I don't think it's really a evil creature as much as a very destructive force of nature.

I have a tendency to apply this logic to basically all "monsters." Unless proven otherwise, monsters are merely the next higher step on the food chain, and it is our humanistic us-vs-them kill-superior-threat-rather-than-flee mindset that applies the term evil to creatures to justify our actions. A lion is not evil for killing an antelope, so why should the monster-of-the-week be described as such?

Surprisingly interesting, seeing the Shinobi actually do stuff instead of just dying to the bad guys. This is a very good development that I am happily surprised to see. This chapter goes to show that teamwork and unity can best any enemy.
