Well...shit. Going to be a wild ride to the season finale. Have no fucking clue how it's going to end this time.

Still holding out some hope that Jax isn't really going to hand Tig over to Pope. Given that the teasers are almost always misdirection, I think I have reason to be optimistic but if that rotten deal does go down then Jax and Clay both can seriously go die in the same goddamned fire. I think it's going to be Damon Pope burning in a fire next week though.

Am I the only one who left this episode feeling a little sorry for Clay? He took it like a man though. And I'm calling it now. Next episode Jax double-crosses and kills Pope, and makes a deal to keep all his deals going with his adviser once he takes over. It's really a pity if I'm right though. Pope is one of my favorite characters. It's also a pity if I'm wrong because I really really really do not want to see Jax sell Tig out.

This show is hilarious. One step forward, two back. Constantly.

Yeah. It's like Jax keeps amassing more power by indebting himself to people and organisations twice as powerful and dangerous.

Well he will get himself out of this in one sweep, of course not without any new enemies first and a new batch of troubles.

So, season's over. No new antagonist set up, unless that retired Marshal dude has enough reach to come after the club. So happy that Jax didn't cross that line, because I would have been left entirely devoid of sympathy for him if he had. And that's not a good position for the main protagonist to be in.

Also, Gemma is one dead bitch once Jax learns about her newest bout of stupidity. And good fucking riddance if so.

He still has the Irish to deal with... though I expect the marshal will be the next major pain in the ass.
I liked this finale, nothing really surprising except Otto's particular action.

Aye. I stopped being worried over Tig's fate when the episode previews showed Jax pulling the gun on him. I know to assume that whatever is shown in those is going to be a misdirection. The marshal...well, one would have to assume that he has some kind of serious backup, or else Jax and the club will just fucking kill him and that's pretty anticlimactic. I still think that is going to be more of a personal war between him and Jax than any kind of big gang action though.

I don't think the Irish are going to seriously go after Redwood, though I guess it's possible since Clay had a deal in the works to continue their gunrunning business until Jax had him framed for murder. I'd say it's more likely for Romeo and the Cartel to decide to become a major pain in the club's ass than the IRA though (no money in it for them though). I guess we could see something like in Season 2 when the League just showed up in the season premiere, and that's where we'll get our new antagonists from.

BTW, my first bold prediction is that Clay breaks (or gets broken) out of jail or somehow otherwise gets out of his current predicament.

EDIT: Also really awesome to see a shoutout to the first season with that insane hobo chick making a cameo. Small touch that I really appreciated.

Yeah the hobo lady is suppose to be some kind of nod to Hamlet right? I can't remember the connection though.

And Otto's scene was so epic. It's awesome that this show can still catch me off guard.

Grave yard scene I believe. When Jax visits his dads grave and leaves is SONS rings.

Yeah, I remembered her two Season One appearances. And now the one after Gemma's rape after being reminded of it. The rest I'm still drawing a blank on.

Also that Sutter is an idiot for not booking Logue for an entire season if he wanted to use him. As it happened he got built up then ended because he had another show. So his whole plot...more or less meaningless with a little bit salvaged (Nero is fucked). But at least Sutter's creepy fucking turn as Otto is done.Who writes that sort of shit then plays it out? Oh, yeah, the guy who played a feet eating mad man on his last show
