Can anyone recommend something similar to The Black Twins?

And not Growing up Black. I'm looking for the Harry being sent to the past to grow up during the first war, while not knowing that he is the boy who lived, instead of the Black family angle.

 

I'm trying to find a story I read a while back. Ron was sent back in time to an A/U 6th or 7th year where Harry was sorted into Hufflepuff. Being in Hufflepuff allowed Harry to grow more freely and is friends with people in nearly all the houses. I believe it is a Harry/Daphne story.

I forgot which Dresden/Harry potter crossover I read a while ago.
It was during the time where I still hadn't read Dresden Files, and all I remember was some epic fight where Voldemort got out in semi-physical form, which Harry still continued to have a measure of control on, and Harry Potter was smacking the white council with the size of his dick as well as massive overpowered self.

Sadly - don't have much more use here. I think I read it on DLP, or at least from DLP crowd, then again, it's not like I haven't been wrong before.

It's not Magician, most probably not Death Stick - I don't remember Sirius being there, not Awaken Sleeper nor Master of Death, even though it has the smacking part down pat. Nor the Denarian Series.
What story am I missing here? (I think with enough time I will stumble upon it again, but I figured I'd save myself some.)

I'd be curious to find some as well. The only one I've ever found was Rake/Ruin slash which is wrong on sooo many levels. I suspect that SE/ ICE frown on it though so I kinda doubt that there would be anything.

I don't know how I missed out on these books, but I picked up Mistborn on a whim earlier this week just browsing through the Fantasy section of the bookstore near me. It absolutely blew me away. It's honestly everything I was looking for in a novel. I'm almost finished with the second in the series and I'm probably going to pick up the last one today or tomorrow.

That being said, I think the premise, the magic system, and the story line all lend themselves well to fanfiction too.

Alloy of Law will always be a stand alone, but Scadriel, the planet Mistborn is set on (All of Sanderson's worlds are connected through the "Cosmere," and the different "powers" in the books, Allomancy, Haemalurgy, and Feruchemy in Mistborn, Surgebinding and all the other powers in TSA, BioChroma in Warbreaker, and the AonDor in Elantris are all "Shards" that are broken off from the original god Adonalsium. And the Shardholders are essentially Gods today. None of this is really spoilery. Promise), will eventually have two more trilogies (sometime after he finishes the Stormlight Archive I expect), one that's modern and will supposedly revolve around an Allomancer SWAT team, and a futuristic one.

Rymrock, if you liked Mistborn, pick up The Way of Kings. It's probably my favorite book released in the past decade. Elantris is also worth a read, but you can really tell that it's Sanderson's first book. Warbreaker is fun too, and free from his website.

Man I love Sanderson.

 

Harry Potter and the Temporal Beacon and The Sorting Hat's Stand/The Power of the Mind have decent takes on expanded TWTs (although the stories are otherwise not very good).

 

Looking for the best first person stories in the fandom, like top 3. Preferably following Harry, but if you consider it one of the best I'll take it.

Also, I see a lot of people complaining about flashbacks. Any stories out there with fantastic flashbacks. When they are a seamless thread woven into the story. The story itself doesn't have to be good as long as the way they implemented the flashback is amazing.
