Just saying, Skarner's damage from just his ult+E at level 6 is 360+1.7, with the suppression, drag, and Qs (that have .4 ratio) on top of that.

It's not a serious contender for ap champ, but it's not as trolly as quite a few others.

My Ap skarner has never lost mid lane :) His E sustain is more than enough for early laning, and level 6 is op.

So, there's a new ranking system coming out that seems to emulate SC2's ladder system. Thoughts from everyone?

I like it, but at the same time I don't. SC2's ladder serves to make people play with others at their skill level, but at the same time, it's hard to get any better with that system in place. Granted, ELO does the same, but the point stands.

    No comment on that atm.

But about Diana: Tweaking her numbers like they are won't fix the issue. They (might) have unbroken her kit with these changes, but if she is functional again, she will still have the same un-addressed issues. She is too inherently tanky for the scaling that AP items allow. Her damage will always be too high for a character as durable as she is. Nerfing or tweaking her damage will either put her into unplayable or unbeatable with a very slim chance of reaching balance.

They need to nerf her base or scaling hp/armor/mr stats or tweak her shield, or both. At least they've finally done something about Rengar that makes sense. His healing is too high, better nerf his damage for 6 patches herpderp.

Churchey pretty much summed up my thoughts on the two champs they tweaked the most.

I'm super sad about the Ezreal ASPD nerf, but I still see him stomping Solo Queue easily.

Apparently, there was a bug with Talon's skill and he was still destroying AP's mid. We'll see what happens here, but it does look like they tested this.

In general, a nice patch before the season starts.

The tiered ladder system doesn't make sense to me since there isn't 1v1 like with SC. Glad the Elo system is staying but it's gonna suck not being able to see it. It might make it easier to move up tiers aside from the series matches you have to play :|

My numbers! My precious numbers. We misses you, we craves you. You're ours! Our precious.... Our own.

I never played SC2 but I trust riot (a bit). Still I play ranked more than normals because I can see a numeric value.

I'm glad for those bug fixes on Vi. They were super annoying.

I don't understand the new system. How does it work? (Yes I read the front page...still don't get it.)

If they ever buff his E (like many demand), Skarner is going to be a terror mid lane if it becomes a viable even semi-nuke.

Not a big fan of playing assassins, just never been good at them, but holy crap I love Zed. Dude is serious fun, once you get a hang of his ult and shadow usage you have an unreal amount of burst. He seems to work best mid lane, shitting on aps and with good roaming abilities. Top is fine too, I've only faced a couple Rivens, a Nidalee and a Vi; all o which got dumped on. His jungle clear is decent but ganks a bit lackluster, although i you pull of a few sucessful early ganks he can snowball hard.

Anyone watch the tourney? M5- sorry, GambitGaming, just trounced Azubu, 2-0. Both of the Azubu teams.

Cleanest sweep of a 4 game series I've seen in a while. Except for a few stumbling blocks in game 4, Gambit seemed to have it in the bag after they picked up in g1.

Compared to the Gambit Gaming that showed up on day 1, I'll admit I was sceptical to say the least, expecting another Azubu sister team finals. Not sure what happened to Azubu, it's like they fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed hard.

Not taking away from what Ex-M5 did. Day 1 they tried to play the Koreans at their own game with the Korean meta and got stomped. Then they just came out and wrecked face after nearly not even getting through. Lot of people put the emphasis on Darrien's Renekton being the key which is interesting.

Much better play though, so happy xPeke got MVP though after his nailbiting win against SK to put them through to the Semi's.

Edit; Latest PBE patch is out - Thoughts?

Blitz is getting nerfed left right and centre, pretty crazy. It's still open to change but reducing his starting mana to 200 from 260 & increasing rocket grab's cost to 120 is gonna be... painful. Shaco's decieve nerf makes no sense and Kata's getting evern more nerfs it would seem with a slight buff to her ult scaling to compensate.

Perhaps the biggest change though is the nerf to Nunu & bloodboil. His early game stays the same (sort of) but his mid and lategame got wrecked. Hardly surprising given he supplied something like 3k worth of stats with rank 5 bb. No Warmogs nerf either even though giants belt took a slight hit on top of sunfire cape.

Really odd choices on Shaco of all champions as it basically neuters him. Yet we still don't see a Warmogs nerf, any real kind of Elise nerfs and Kha'Zix gets left alone. Don't personally find them op so much as their kits is ridiculously strong and could use tweaking, just not sure how. I guess the mana cost nerf to Elise is a small step in the right direction.

Blitz, Kata and Nunu all needed nerfs.

Shaco... meh. He was only a problem when I was a noob.
