Sakura's horrible because a 15 year old ninja with 3 years of experience was more courageous in the face of overwhelming odds than she was when she was 12 and just getting started in her shinobi career. However in practice both of their attempts to help amounted to the same damn thing.

Hinata's constant cries of "Naruto-kun" were less numerous and less annoying than Sakura's "Sasuke-kun."

Therefore, she is superior. Also, Hinata had a plan and nearly succeeded in freeing Naruto from the chakra rods pinning him to the ground. Sakura had no plan at all.

On top of that, Sakura's 'relationship' for Sasuke sends just about the worst message you could possibly imagine. Pick a guy based on how cool he is, and continue to admire him after he treats you like shit and makes terrible life choices.

The ability to give others chakra, specifically Tailed Beast chakra, was foreshadowed a while ago. Remember the Bijuu meeting during the Tailed Beast fights? All of them, but Shukaku, gave Naruto a bit of chakra.

More specifically, it's not even Naruto doing it. He's just the courier that Kyuubi's using to pass out the goods.

While it's bad storytelling, it's not a complete ass pull.

 

Hadn't it been going on since the Naruto/Kyuubi fight? I thought Kirabi lent him some chakra to block that first Bijuudama. Then after that Son Goku did it, followed by Kurama.

 

I think the idea that its unique comes from the fact that its being given to non-jinchuuriki. Every other time bijuu chakra has been transferred willingly has been between bijuu/jins. Its easier to accept Bee(jin) helping Naruto(another jin) or bijuu giving chakra to someone who is already "attuned" to the chakra of a bijuu (Naruto) than it is it to accept Kyuubis chakra being randomly given to people who have absolutely nothing to do with bijuu at all.

Basically all the bijuu originally come from the same source (Juubi), and they also have that whole telepathic communication going on (the place where the other bijuu gave chakra to Naruto). So its probably easier to accept that bijuu/jins can give chakra to other bijuu/jins, since in a way they are the same and always have been connected.

I should also say this. Some japanese person in narutoforums claimed that the proper translation of the latest chapter indicated that it was Naruto himself who managed to make Kyuubis chakra compatible to others. Since I don't speak the language however, I have no idea if its true.

However I do think that it has to be something unique to Naruto&Kyuubi. There have been a lot of situations where Bee handing Hachibis chakra to others would have been helpfull, but that has never happened despite the fact that Bee has been a perfect-jinchuuriki a LOT longer than Naruto. So I will say that this chakra transfer from a jin to non-jin is almost certainly unique to Naruto&Kyuubi and other jin/bijuu cannot give their chakra to normal humans.

Hmm. I wonder if this could have been related to the fact that those two brothers ate a part of Kyuubi and actually got some of its chakra, but when someone tried that with Hachibi they just died. That could be another foreshadowing that Kyuubis chakra can be given to humans but that of the other bijuu cannot.

 

If you read the Manga Stream translation I think this is made pretty clear. Naruto is now able to make Kyuubi's chakra his own, which is why he can give it to others and is also why Orochimaru and Sasuke can sense his immense chakra from what is probably hundreds of miles away.

 

I think it's pretty lulzy how Sakura didn't get any of Naruto's essence put inside of her. Had she, Sakura probably would have just kept that shit hidden away like a little cunt only to use to for healing Sasuke later.

Ah ok. I guess it kinda makes sense. We did see Kyuubi take control earlier and give his chakra to Kakashi and he was only restored to full rather than supercharged. I guess this could be Kishi doing the whole "working together is better" thing. Kyuubi alone can only restore someone, but Kyuubi&Naruto working in unity can actually supercharge others.

Now I only wonder why Bee cannot do it. Is it because Naruto has some unique ability as an Uzumaki or if its Kyuubi who makes this possible and Hachibi cannot transfer chakra to non-jins.
