And Triforce is indeed getting it's cost changed to 3 gold instead of 300 gold. Apparently they want to make Tons of Damage more affordable.

 

It's more like Frozen Fist was just straight superior to Tforce on so many levels, Tforce actually needed some sort of buff to compete.

Just checking the stats. TForce purchases got cut in half since Iceborn came out. The only champions that still want TForce over Iceborn and are purchasing it frequently are Irelia and Jax.

Ezreal, Nidalee, Yorick, and Skarner have all basically dropped TForce and swapped to Iceborn.

 

I would definitely agree that there are a lot of champions that have dropped Triforce in favor of Iceborn Gauntlet. Yorick being perhaps my main top champion, you cannot deny the effectiveness of a guaranteed AOE slow.

Another champ like this would be Nasus. However, it is a bit of a double-edged sword if you get Iceborn over Triforce, since it can definitely mess with your Q farming.

Nidalee changes based on the situation. I still get Triforce on her occasionally, especially when doing well.

Overall, it definitely needed something to make it more appealing to champions who tend to use an item that builds out of Sheen (excepting those who use Lichbane of course). In this patch, apparently Riot is shooting for cost efficiency.

 

Did anyone get into any fun sounding Divisions? I'm in 'Urgot's Chains' on EUW, and just... Wow. Didn't need to think about those implications honestly.

 

I got into Jax's Tricksters.

One of my friends got into Darius's Wizards. Which is a totally awesome name.

 

Has NA still got maintenance? I read on reddit they extended it by 3 hours but that was, unsurprisingly, 3 - 4 hours ago now.

So, played my first 5 games in the new system and lost them all. Demoted down to Silver III, feeling like a boss because I won my lane in all of them, but my team kept choosing to do really weird dives against Sona's, Malphite's and Leona's. Not sure what to make of the people in Silver II in my division, outside the fact the 20 or so I've played with thus far are pretty braindead.

Time to actually win a game, call it a day and work myself up from Silver III where I'll inevitably be stuck for a while due to players like that and this new BO3 to advance system. I like it, but just getting a team less mechanically skilled than the other, or simply blind to pings and the minimap can really hinder your progress, as has just been proven. Can't carry 'em all folks.

Those are some rather odd combinations you got Republic, wow. Another game lost making it 6 in a row, though I nailed Thresh that game. So many early kills fed to my carry, sadly her overconfidence and squishiness killed her multiple times when chasing. Frustrating, but at least I got +4 Friendly which is always awesome.

 

Sejuani's Highwaymen, I don't even. Pretty sure it's a RNG making those names.

edit: How's everyone feel about the armgaurd? I like it a lot, but I think it may be too strong. It's definitely retardly strong for a top laner AP bruiser (Rumble, Diana, Mordekaiser) vs an AD/AA reliant champion.
