This chapter was actually insanely good. Everyone got Crowning Moments of Awesome without detracting from one another's glory.

 

Yeah, nice chapter, although it annoyed me a little that Hiruzen and Tobirama kept forcing the discussion off track. Then again, the revelation for the Hokages that Madara has been revived and is stirring up trouble again was cool.

Did I understand correctly that Hashirama just freed himself from Orochimaru's control in this chapter? Because that would suggest awesomeness for the future of this manga.

I wonder what question Sasuke will ask of Minato after the Shodai is finished with his story. Actually, that raises the question of whether Sasuke already knows about Naruto's parentage (either from Orochimaru or Obito). With all the recent references to the Uzumaki clan, which Sasuke heard without commenting or reacting in any way, it seems possible that he already knows plenty about the Uzumaki clan and Naruto's true background, but we the readers haven't been shown how he came by that information.

Whatever, chapter was good, and I'm really looking forward to the next one.

 

Well he did have 3 years of training with orochimaru.

Also every time I see Madara's battle fan it just looks stupid. So does the First's sword here.

 

Liked the mention of how the previous Edo Tensei weakened them. Kishi just closed a plot hole of the power levels.

Sasukes question of Minato will probabaly be the most interesting. Maybe a "Choosing family or duty" kind of question about him sealing the 9-tails in Naruto.

 

I'm curious if this Minato is connected to the Minato Chakra remnant inside Naruto. Are there two separate instances of him, or has the remnant already disappeared from Naruto?

 

Disappeared. It used up its chakra speaking with Naruto and restoring the Kyuubi which was its purpose.

 

A cool thing about Edo Minato: he's a Nine-Tails jinchuuriki.

I'm not sure what this means for the coming events in the manga, but it's gonna be epic.

 

The Kage's are a bunch of Morons. It took them this long to realize the NineTail's Chakra when its standard Policy to Analyze the situation and your surroundings first, and Minato was even doing that when he appeared.

How did Minato even know its Naruto's Chakra?, Sure Its his son and he knows his, but Naruto has matured as is his Chakra, Surely it should be harder for him to sure its him?

Tobirama's Chakra release was cool, It could be the So called 'Powerful Chakra's' of the sage. Its a wonder How the Senju clan even died with this Powerful Chakra.

 

I think you're labouring under the delusion that the Kyuubi's Yin half was sealed, as a free entity, inside the Shinigami. As my post above shows, it was sealed within Minato, who was then in turn sealed within the Shinigami. So Naruto's power did not just double. Also, considering Minato is familiar with the Kyuubi's chakra, and has all of its Yin chakra sealed inside him, it's fairly understandable that he could detect and identify Naruto and Kurama. Also, if Naruto's chakra has a similar 'feel' to Kushina's (i.e. that distinct Uzumaki chakra), then it would be even more likely that Minato could sense him out.

 

Just noticed a funny detail. In the Tobirama raepface page, everyone is scared, yeah.

But Suigetsu is fucking shitting himself.

I mean, it makes sense, since Nidaime is the super water-specialist, but it's a fun little thing to notice. Then Hashirama raepfaces and he starts fucking melting.
