Damn, that sucks Rabbit. I'll be your support anytime in ranked haha. I don't understand what's so difficult about playing the role of support. You ward, you protect, and you help kill. But people just don't seem to get it.

Dah well. If anybody needs a good support to duo with for ranked, let me know. I'm game, and I own every support champion, except for Karma. And some of the weird off-shoots like Lux and Morgana. I can adjust to your playstyle, and freely open to constructive criticism. Unless that criticism comes from Prometheius.

It's only 10% less crit and AS than PD, and for a far cheaper price. Since I was building IE and had Nunu's bloodboil, I felt like I could pass up those stats, particularly since I was Vayne (8% true damage always good). Furthermore, my Nunu was a piece of trash and did nothing but die in lane, so I got zoned pretty fucking hard. I couldn't afford to wait for PD money, when my team needed me ASAP for team fights, since every single one of them was feeding so hard.

I also needed the waveclear from shiv. Our team did not have much waveclear, and even if we did, they were too stupid to understand that you do not chase the enemy across the map while minions are doing work on all 3 inhibs.

 

The thing is, PD gives you "No unit collision" which makes chasing and escaping so much easier on Vayne.

That and 1% more move speed would help a ton in keeping yourself safe since your derpy team obviously couldn't help you at all.

As for wave clearing, I think the 10% crit would actually help you out more, since a crit basically OHKOs casters and 90% HP melees, if you have IE.

 

PD's passive would have been worthless by the time I bought it. By the time I got shiv, THEY were diving ME repeatedly. I wasn't chasing them and getting creep blocked or anything. Furthermore, shiv gives 1% more MS than PD does.

Shiv's passive can apply crit to a whole wave. I've spent this week playing around with pd vs. shiv, and I feel that even with IE, shiv is better than PD for waveclear on a champ that does not inherently have waveclear.

In retrospect, my derpy team didn't have to peel for me. This is trash elo, it's not hard to dodge all their CC. What pissed me off the most was that Xin and Olaf would dive me repeatedly, and I'd be kiting them to hell and back. After I'm done 1v2ing them, I turn around and SURPRISE my whole entire fucking team is dead. Pieces of trash couldn't even win a 4v3, and 2 of those 3 were the Sona and Corki I mopped lane with (to clarify -- got my ass kicked pre-6, kicked their asses post-6) -_-

 

Not nearly as badly as I rape your performance in any way you care to measure in any game we have ever played together.

I feel like trying to say Yorick is good by attacking me is silly. It isn't an uncommon opinion, and I don't think you have any room to insult my playing capabilities. In fact, I'd go as far as to say I don't believe I have ever lost my lane when playing with you. On top of that, I don't think there has been a game where I haven't completely shut down my lane when playing with you.

Yorick is just a faggy champion. Should we have an intervention to help you face the facts?

 

Just drop the discussion about Yorick. This has become a situation of simply beating a dead horse.

Suffice it to say, we all have different opinions, and leave it at that.

 

Lost because of a horrible fucking team. Garen loses top to Shen, Annie afk's half the game after feeding 2 kills to Lux and our Xin jungle loses to there Xin jungle in both ganking ability and farm. Also only one of them speaks a bit of English so no communication at all.

I never once insulted your playing capabilities, you are a good player and I respect you, I was jesting at the fact that everyone is so butthurt about Yorick. That comment wasn't meant specifically for anyone.

 

I feel like those who play Shen just vary ridiculously in skill level. They're either good or bad.

For example, in one ranked game, I played Rumble against Shen. I ended 13/3/13.

My first four items: Sorc boots, Revolver, Guise, Giant's Belt
His first four: Ninja tabi, Sunfire, Doran's Shield, Emblem of Valor

He got dominated in lane, and was useless in every fight. Somebody clearly didn't know what they were doing.

 

People like to play "Overpowered" champions whether they are good or bad with those champions. Quite silly.

 

I love that Ezreal's Mystic Shot procs Shiv. I just love getting a kill at max range and a half by hitting the tank and killing the 1% ap carry.

 

I think that's just a case of people winning a lane with a build like that or simply just thinking it'll work as it what the Guide says to build without really thinking about who they're up against. I can put my hand up and say I did it very early on in normals, though being at level 10 you're still kind of praying your lane opponent isn't a couple of levels higher than you.

Shen is... Well, I wanna say a risky pick. He's usually banned over Malphite which makes no sense to me in my division. I'd rather have Shen ult/split push than a Malphite ult in and destroy my team because people are bad at positioning in Silver, generally anyway.

As an example though, I think that kind of shows one of the earliest things you need to pick up in League is recognising what the enemy's got and how to build to counteract it, I just don't think people trying to bruteforce someone who has a lead works too well. There's only certain champions I'd keep building damage > resistances/health once I've died once if not twice.

 

Dive comps are amazing when you are playing premade with friends. Pick Malphite top, Xin Zhao jungle and AP trynd with AP Taric bot, choose almost any mid, enjoy free wins even while you play bad due to opponents not protecting their carry from being obliterated.

Of course doesn't work against GOOD players, but with players ranging from 1400-1600 it's easiest win possible, and no-one needs to be bored at bottom lane farming the standard AD support lane.

And oh my god Xin is amazing at the moment. My current favourite jungler easy.

You're absolutely right. I remember having terrible builds when I first started because I had no clue who half of the champions were, let alone what they could do. Although, I do know people (at level 30 with 400+ wins) who still don't know how to build on their own...

And I love the fact that the song on the log-in screen right now is just a variation on the normal League song. They really have been going all out for events or releases.

 

I've missed that League theme. I love the animated login screens and all the individual champion themes... but I've really, really missed that theme tune. Hearing it again, even in a recycled Lunar Revel version from last year, brought a smile to my face.

 

Starting to think people in my Division are just retarded full stop. Demoted back down to Silver IV because people in Silver III can't build to counter their lanes at all, that and I got stuck against the same MF every game who is in no way a player from this ELO because she is just too good, she has to be a top tier Gold at least. She can 2 vs 1 my bot lanes just fine and my team just doesn't listen.

So, back to Silver IV I go, to work my way up again. Yay.

As for themes, I haven't actually listened to this one, I generally have music and animations disabled just because it seems to slow my League client down for no reason, so generally I keep them both off, though I'm not sure whether I preferred the Vi or the Thresh theme to be fair, both were really good and kinda different though my friend tells me Diana's music was pretty awesome.

Edit; Pretty sure there's a list of themes and their songs/music somewhere on lolwiki, might take a browse later and see if I've missed out on any gems.
