When I bought The Darkness 2 it automatically took $5 off when I checked out, not sure if its US only though. Also, I'm pretty sure you can only use it once to.

I only want the one thing. If I have the money I might get the MS arcade thing too though, Mark of the Ninja looks like a lot of fun.

Agreed: 8 dollars was a good price (perhaps less so if it didn't include all the DLC).

I bought it during Steam's winter sale for thirteen-something, with the DLC.

And, I completely suck at it... but I knew that, going in. :)

The sad thing is that I built a joystick a while back and wanted something besides emulators to try it out with, and SF would have been perfect for that, but it's kind of a pain trying to finagle around and get anything that isn't an X-Box controller to work with it.

I've been a bit of a fan of the series for a while, though (shit, I guess it's been over twenty years), and like some of the character designs, so I got it. Although, I really wish they'd cut back on some of the shoto-clones. With the exception of a few moves, most of them are the same. The main difference is how the computer plays them, and pros probably don't play against the computer opponents anyway.

Thank goodness for interesting new characters like Crimson Viper.

iirc the computer recognizes an official fightstick as an Xbox Gamepad. There are also programs that emulate a 360 controller for pretty much anything.

Actually, I just had a look, and it turns out the joystick set up is pretty routine in SF IV AE.

I blame the fact I've had my nose stuck in Borderlands 2 since the Winter Sale, but now that I finally got around to checking it out, they've changed the way controllers are set up in this version (as compared to vanilla SF IV).

FYI: I'm using a stick built around the MC Cthulhu board. While functional, I'm afraid it's not much to look at, since I haven't had the time or money to finish it. It's currently just the board with some clear Seimitsu buttons and bubble top on a Sanwa JLW stick (Not ideal for modern fighters, but I wanted a stick that was good for old 4-way arcade games, like Pac Man, too), all crammed into the case of a defunct Pelican Real Arcade Universal.

Edit: If you want to see some amazing custom sticks, there's a link in my sig pic.

The coupons are from purchases on Amazon of digital download games from November to December. Coupons don't stack but you do get multiple ones if you bought multiple games.

The 5 game arcade pack from Microsoft is on sale at amazon for $10 (5 with coupon). People on reddit were really excited about this deal. There are a couple highly regarded games in there.

    1. DEADLIGHT [Download]
    2. Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet [Download]
    3. Iron Brigade [Download]
    4. Mark of the Ninja [Download]
    5. Toy Soldiers [Download]

All games should have steam codes, although one or two have gfwl on top of that.

Galactic Arms ( http://www.desura.com/games/galactic-arms-race ) is free on www.steamgifts.com The game looks kind of fun and they are are giving away 25k copies with around 28k entries. So you are basically garunteed a game. Plus you will get a steam key even though the game is still on steam greenlight. The giveaway ends in one day.

GMG is giving away a few free games over the weekend if you link up your steam account to playfire. Unstoppable Gorg is being given away tommorrow. None of the games look especially interesting, and I think all use capsule instead of steam. But you can probably trade them in later for a little bit of instore credit.
