Oga's minions will now be branded with demon powers? Show me more. I am intrigued.

Now we get all the fanboys baying for Furuichi to get a demon powerup too. Why that character is so popular I will never quite understand. But this development is going to jack Aoi's Black Techs through the ceiling, to say nothing of Toujo who is beast enough on his own.

Furuichi has fanboys? Weird. Tbh, I was getting more and more sick of him given his role in the manga which made his mini-arc a refreshing change of pace. I don't see much point in given powers to a complete non-fighter like him; he's more of a strategy guy. Or at least he should be since I don't remember him doing any strategising outside of this chapter.

Hordes of them. Seriously, go look around the comments section for Beelzebub at Mangahere or Batoto sometime. It's downright retarded how many people squee over that little butt monkey. I normally am one to live and let live over things like that, but it gets mega annoying in this particular case.

Okay, read it. Think it only had three chapters when I read it the first time around so things have gotten pretty wild since then.

And it bears repeating: Bitch be fucking crazy.

Indeed. Though I'm starting to wonder a bit about that. I mean, we shouldn't assume Sugamo's being on the level with Kingfisher. Bitch be crazy on some level for asking him to do what she did regardless of motivation, but I'm thinking she knows something about Tokage's real power (whatever THAT ends up being) and that losing that eye, or the trauma associated with it, is the key to awakening it. So, she might think she's giving him the 'power to repaint the world' at the cost of an eye. I have a feeling she's purposely setting Kingfisher up to be killed by a crazed Tokage when his power wakes up.

You had the same thoughts as me then, given the way Tokage went berserker right after losing his eye. Take away his eye to awaken his power and give him motivation to get fully involved in "that world". The only way he's going to get his eye back is to defeat the strongest assassin. Still, the nature of the plan and the way she acts totally makes me thinks she's crazy even if she's got an agenda.

Right now, I'm wondering more about the way. She might be doing because she likes Tokage or because she really is infatuated with his eye and wants to see what colour they make from this situation. Though they might both be the case for her.

Damn, this series has gotten me pretty interested.

Apparently no Mangacow speed scan of Tower of God this week. Hoping that doesn't mean we're going to have to wait an entire fucking week for the Batoto scanlation.

So, I looked at the raws and have tried to piece together a general summary of the action from posts on Batoto and elsewhere. Probably very spotty and inaccurate at places, but I'm hoping not.

Koon wakes up from dreaming about the events he's just been through to Wangnan and Yihwa arguing over him. Yihwa seems to have used her flames to heat up a medicinal needle of some kind, which Koon grabs and holds to Wangnan's throat demanding information. Koon already seems to be working on assembling all the pieces and how FUG and 'Jyu Viole Grace' relate to Baam, though he isn't convinced yet that the two are indeed the same person.

Koon then meets the rest of the team, seems to confirm that they are Jyu Viole Grace's team. He has some reflection about how their demeanor doesn't seem suited for a FUG slayer candidate. He then decides to leave to check on his old team, the others insist on going with him. Akraptor says something about how Koon is a famous son of the Ten Families and that it's only natural that a Slayer would hold enmity towards him.

Koon and the rest arrive at his bunker on the 29th Floor and discover Gyetang (chicken dude) and Dan, as well as 'F.U.G' painted on the wall in what I assume to be Dan's blood. Dan isn't dead, but Rachel apparently destroyed his legs. Wangnan orders Prince to locate a hospital and Akraptor carries the wounded and unconscious Dan out on his back.

Koon is sitting in Dan's hospital room later, with the rest of the group waiting outside. Wangnan pleads Viole's innocence in the attack, but Koon needs no convincing on that point. He heads out onto the roof, still working on piecing together the information he has, and then Hwa Ryun shows up out of nowhere and just confirms Viole = Baam for him. LOL.

Elsewhere, Leesoo and the rest of the Season I team are watching a news report on the events at Arlene's Hand and hear that Koon was killed in the attack. Grim expressions everywhere.

Elsewhere again, Parakewl delivers the same news to Rak (who seems to have split away from the rest of the team at some point). The gator doesn't believe it for an instant and marches off to track Koon down himself.

So it seems like we're now set up to have the Season I team targeting Baam during the workshop battle. And I was worried about how Wangnan and co. were going to be able to handle the competition without Baam and Horyang, but it seems that they will have the greatest leader of the times there to show them the path to victory.

I haven't been this excited for an arc since the start of Season 2. Suddenly we have a new team, new characters, Rak is back in action and Rachel has publicly shown her true colours. And stuff is moving very quickly.

Also something I've been wondering, if Viole is now in a F.U.G team, and Rachel has left Koon's old group for a F.U.G group, does that mean they are going to meet sooner than expected? I mean the two F.U.Gs that where undercover admitted they were working with Xiaxia, does that mean they are part of the same team? And that Viole and Rachel are going to be too?

    PS: Hwa Ryun :awesome

EDIT: Tower of God scanlation is up now.

I doubt it. The team Karaka is assembling for Viole is supposed to consist of only the absolute best of the best (though Viole has subverted that and added members of his own choosing in Ran and Novik, but they are good enough to be there). At any rate, I doubt Apple and Michael make the cut and Rachel certainly doesn't unless she has a lot of potential that she's never bothered to show, which Headon pretty much outright said she didn't at the beginning. Also, it's too early for Baam and Rachel to meet again and I'm pretty sure FUG will want to continue using her as a lure to keep him climbing.

PS: Fuck Hwa Ryun. RAK MOTHERFUCKING WRAITHRAISER.

After re-reading The Breaker, I have a bit more appreciation for Shioon. He's not as bad as I'd really thought, I think I was applying too many manga stereotypes to him and thinking him one of those incredibly weak characters.

Now onto New Waves to see whether or not he steps it up.

Someday Baam, Koon and Rak are going to stand together in a fight and it's going to be glorious.

How many manga are there with good villain protagonists? I'm thinking in the vein of Death Note, but genre doesn't matter so much (you could even count something like Trace, for what it's worth).

More on-topic: I'm pretty bummed Liar Game is on break now. It's my favourite serial, and the most reliably-updated of the ones I'm up to date on.

    Beelzebub 194.

    Pretty badass.

And no sooner than I'm finished reading that, Rosario updates as well.

Feels like the series is now headed towards the ending, unless there's going to be another season. There's still the Masked King out there, but the ending of this chapter definitely gives the Final Battle vibe. Hope that's a misdirection. Too many quality series have been ending these recent months.

Looks like the Jobber just got a serious upgrade. Wonder if the ownage is because of who he's contracted with or if he, and probably the rest of the group, have an affinity for this kind of thing.

It does feel like Rosario's coming to an end. Personally, I don't think the Masked Man is gonna be a big thing but who knows...

    Onepunch-Man 25

They might as well upload these chapters as gifs.

I'm keeping up hopes that he will be, just because I want the series to continue. Also, chapter seems to have reignited a bit of hope for the harem ending (or opened up the possibility of leaving the whole matter unresolved, and that would piss me off in ways I don't even have words to describe).

It felt good knowing that Oga could knock around the chumps, but I guess waiting for who is backing them is the real mystery.

Toriko manga is kind of becoming like Naruto shinobi war.
