Onepunch-Man 25: The Mini Movie

Rosario = Issa's actually a softie, huh? And Go go, Gyokuro! I want to see the human world destroyed! Shame that she's working purely on revenge hate etc, so it'll never happen, though. Gyokuro fuses with the Big Bad, reminding me of Caster from Fate/Zero, and all the ally reinforcements appear at once. Everyone even slightly genre-savvy knows that Gyokuro's already defeated =/

 

A friend clued me in to this beautiful beast. Now I just need to what until April and order it.

How many of you have read the Akira manga? The movie is fairly ubiquitous, but not as many bother reading the comic it was based on. Kind of sad too since it has a lot more going on in it.

 

Damn, Breaker was kind of intense.....the ending deserves some silence.

Fairy Tail seems to be trying to close up all the other storylines before focusing on the dragon apocalypse.

Not sure if anyone else was reading medaka box, but I just skipped everything that happened after the minus arc. I tuned in for the last like 15-20 chapters. Is the series over or cancelled?

 

Break Blade 61.

I really need to read this series from the beginning sometime, but I sort of picked it up in the later chapters and have gotten the gist of the plot. Have to say, Hodr is being a whole lot more of a bro about this entire Rygart/Sigyn mess than he has any obligation to be. Respect that. I kind of feel bad for everyone involved, but especially Rygart. There is literally no way this can end well for him and very little he can do to help it. And any hope of Sigyn getting over him is probably already shot to shit and will be even more so when he comes riding to her rescue here.

 

The issue with Break Blade was that, for a long time, you had absolutely no idea who was who in the mecha battle scenes. It was almost impossible to distinguish them.

And The Breaker's becoming fucking awesome again. I lost patience with it about a year ago, but it's good to see that it eventually came good. I understand that the author wanted to give the main character gradual character development, but New Waves is already twice as long as its predecessor and it barely seems to have gotten its teeth into the main storyline. Anyway, at least it's all good now.

Trinity Seven 24.

Another chapter, another harem member. Magic King Form got trolled a lot easier than expected, which is a good thing and I hope it doesn't show back up for a good while yet.

Finally did sit down and read it all the way through, and I never had this problem to be honest. I am now much more on the side of hoping Rygart and Sigyn do have their happy ending together now than I was having read nothing but the later chapters, but also a lot more convinced that it's destined not to be. Either A) Sigyn is going to end up dead at the hands of Zess in this arc (this being the most likely outcome IMO) which will finally drive Rygart over the edge for good or B) she'll reconcile her marriage with Hodr at some point.

Tower of God is up, if you can deal with Mangacow and their horrible servers.

Cool chapter. Horyang confirmed alive, Koon agrees to form a team with Wangnan and co. to enter the tournament at Hwa Ryun's instigation. Jinsung is once again a bro, and Baam seems to be getting another huge powerup. Even with the reveal about his team's level of participation in the tournament, the only way anyone is going to have a chance in Hell against him is if he lets them win.

 

Beelzebub 195.

Didn't care overly much for this chapter. Can't quite pin down the reason why though.

 

Really? I kind of thought the chapter was exciting. Granted I wanted to see the others with their knight powers before Oga took the fight, but I guess a king has to lead by example. Oga does need some new moves though.
The only thing is I can't seem to remember who the pony tailed guy is or if he is a brand new character. He is wearing a black suit, could he be a member of En's crew? The previous chapter did mention rebels or previous rivals to the throne or something.

 

Pretty sure that was Athrun, that one demon from way back when Oga and Furuichi got pulled into the Demon World right after Oga defeated Toujo (that miniarc with Alaindelon's daughter IIRC). I guess I just didn't care to see Oga get beaten down by this midboss all chapter just to get up and OHKO him at the end. If you're going to Worf him to show off the power level of the new enemies, just do it. Otherwise don't bother. But Oga does need some new skills, yes. I think the whole Radish part of his dream way back at the start of this arc is an indicator that he's going to be training under Behemoth in the near future.

 

Just started reading Trinity Seven and it is pretty lulzy :awesome

 

I just wish the breaker chapter was longer. Even though last week's was just an epic ending, it just sad that only one can survive from this battle. I guess they are still trying to keep shiwoon alive as the main character. It's just epic how its happening. I really want the 9 arts dragon to come back in the scene.

 

Trinity Seven has the most likable Protagonist I've seen in a while. Also the headmaster is a bamf :awesome

If I was ever going to read Kenichi to begin with (doubtful), this comparison settles that I never will.

 

Anyone else read the Rosario one shot? The art was a little too shoujo for me.

 

Dude, Kenichi is a woeful manga series. Not because it's mindless shounen; it's just crap. The tits are the only worthy things in it.

And someone has got to kill Im Dal Young. Has to.

 

So, it's basically an Im Dal Young manga as he said.

 

It was pretty fun up until the whole Yomi/Yami got involved. Then, like a lot of shounen, it tried to be more epic than it deserved and became boring.

Also, the tits weren't worthy at all. None of the female characters were attractive at all.
