Seven people remaining, with at most three scum. This is getting tight.

If I had to guess three names, CheddarTrek, Rubicon and Castiel. CheddarTrek still hasn't said all that much about anyone, Rubicon has been on my scumdar since his superstrong Day 2 push against Zennith, and Castiel - well, this was the hardest one to justify. Castiel was very iffy on Day 1, on Day 2 and 3 he made strong arguments against Zennith but aside from that hasn't pushed far on any major issue. That last spot's a toss up, though (plus it's only there if we have been unlucky so far), and another strong contender is LochNess, who I most definitely want to hear from soon now that she's back, or she's moving much further up my list.

Moridin, I don't remember if I've played mafia with you before, but anyone who has can confirm that me aggressively pushing someone is not one of my scumtells.

But while we're talking about scumtells:

    1) I asked you a pretty direct question a while back, which you definitely read, and you ignored it. Any good reason for that, other than the obvious?

    2) Explain your criticism of me in light of this post:

Castiel: I'd lynch Cheddar, Moridin, LochNess and Aekiel. But I don't think we'll get that many lynches, so we need to prioritize.

Last time I remember playing with Cheddar she was very forward (she was town), putting her ideas in, and this time it seems like she is saying lots of nothing, space filling type posts without going after anyone.

Castiel, you are asking for names of who you think is scum from everyone, who do you have down? I know in an earlier day you gave some thoughts on BillDoor's list, but that wasn't three names, just that you thought one of three people would be scum. Anyways you are on my list. And I did not get visited.

Sesc actually is really on my radar. Nothing to do with him threatening to vote for me, I get people saying that since I was totally MIA. Just his posts don't really seem to give many real opinions, more like he is taking the easy way out where he won't offend anyone.

Right, the Typhon thing. I'll get back to you in a bit on that.

As for my criticism of you, it's perfectly compatible with that post. If you recall, I wanted to lynch Zennith. Just not on Day 2. You seemed absolutely insistent on believing Zennith over Fontisian with no good reason to. That is why I was suspicious. As I said at the time, lynching Zennith before Fontisian gave us no tangible benefits in either scenario, and lynching Fontisian before Zennith gave us an extra protect from the Dresden if Zennith was telling the truth. At the time, and with the information available to us, there was simply no reason to push for a Zennith lynch over a Fontisian lynch.

Given that the passage of time has made it increasingly likely that Zennith was in fact telling the truth, the post looks worse with hindsight as it makes you look like a scumbuddy of Fontisian, who would naturally be scum in that scenario.

I'll answer re: Typhon after breakfast.

---------- Post automerged at 09:31 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:43 AM ----------

Typhon's been a decently town player for most of the game. He posted on and off during the first day, but on the second and third he participated in discussion and acted like a vanilla townie, especially in comparison to other players (in a game with only three scum outside of Fontisian/Zennith, that's important). Posts 106 and 154 especially gave me the impression that he's on the level - not a power player, certainly, but that doesn't read like scum. Post 277 on Day 4 also helped his case for me, as he echoed what I was thinking about the list, CheddarTrek and Rents.

Plus, he just got nightkilled, which greatly increases the chances of him not being Red Court.

Obviously, none of that is conclusive, but honestly I feel comfortable enough writing him off as town and focusing on scummier players.

Day end is coming up soon, right? We are going to have to get a lynch started if we don't want a no lynch today.

    Gonna go with

Eh, LochNess, part of my being quiet is my not having been here for most of the game (I replaced someone) and part of it is just that there doesn't seem to be loads of rapid fire posting. I have some concern about saying something really stupid due to my lack of knowledge of the intricacies of these games.

I'm not quite sure who I want to lynch this time. I don't think you're scum LochNess. I'm a vanilla mortal, again, so at least it won't be a huge loss... but I'd really rather we got a scum.

You alive Sesc? Were you visited?

Stuck in an exam for the next two hours, will pop back in before the deadline.
    Lynch: CheddarTrek

We need two more votes in the next few hours.

    @Moridin: Fair enough regarding Typhon.

I thought it was less likely that both Molly and scum would converge on the same target and the opposing court would decide, maybe unwisely, to counterclaim, than it was that scum would just claim tainted Dresden as a last resort. Still seems more likely, except for Aekiel's post, and to be fair even with that it's not certain Zennith was the Dresden.

    First off, Lynch: CheddarTrek

I have got scum-vibes from Cheddar and Sesc so far. If I have to pick a third it would be Lochness.

Right, here I am. I was busy with Uni, sorry. And yeah, I was visited. Furthermore, I think Cheddar is the remaining half of the White Court, so I kinda want her dead :s

    Lynch: CheddarTrek

There was a bunch of stuff, but the biggest hints were the posts last day about jibril, and how she was involved in the Zennith/fontisian lynch, who I think makes up the other half. I'm still not sure who is what, but I guess it doesn't matter.

And LochNess: If you look through my posts again, you might see that I poked at various people throughout the game. I'm trying to find out who is what. I'm not sure what you mean with 'real opinions', though.

FYI before I die -- I think Sesc is scum now. Been a bit too keen on me over things I don't agree were that scummy.

Again, I'm Vanilla. If that helps out to know after you guys sort out I wasn't a baddie. ^^

Cheddar, pointing at someone because he points at you does not make you look any better. Besides, I'm only one voice, and not even the most vocal one, because I had no time to be (if that is what you meant btw, LochNess, you're right). Why point at me specifically?

Obviously Day is over, Lynch on CheddarTrek: Sesc, Castiel, Rubicon LochNess. I'll post when Day begins again.

    ---------- Post automerged 03-21-2013 at 08:24 PM ---------- Previous post was 03-20-2013 at 10:29 PM ----------

    Night 5 ends
There was a shrill shriek in the night. The villagers awoke to Aekiel surrounded by blood. The villagers have all but given up, they think there's no hope left. Can they lynch the remaining vampires, who knows?

    LiveList:
    1. Castiel
    2. Moridin
    3. Rubicon
    4. LochNess
    5. Sesc

There are 5 people left. It's 3 to lynch. Game goes until it ends. You'll know when that is.

    Day 6 begins

Come on, people. This is going down to the wire, let's not drop activity now.

First off, anyone visited last night? We know the RC is still active, let's hope we at least managed to eliminate the WC.

Rubicon, can you explain why you would have lynched Aekiel? Not accusing, just curious since I found him relatively okay.

Wasn't visited. Unless Sesc is going to say he was visited twice in a row, looks like we might have got the bastards. (Or RC did.)

Moridin, my list is mostly process of elimination. He was relatively okay but not okay enough to look obvtown to me. In reality, since we would never have gotten 4 lynches, he would have been my last pick on that list, though.

I was leaning town on Sesc, but I'm feeling less confident about this after his back-and-forth with Cheddar yesterday, which looked an awful lot like last-minute distancing.

Last minute distancing on what, Rubicon? I wasn't visited this night, which obviously would have been kinda stupid anyway. So if no one was visited, and you're not going to claim Aekiel was White Court or some odd play where White wastes a night and a taint, then Cheddar was the last one, and that's that.

Also, she tried this before. Just like she went for me with the taint when I poked her for her post about jibril.

As far as the remaining players go: I have good feelings about Rubicon and Moridin. They are generally constructive, which is pro-Town behaviour. Castiel had some odd posts at the beginning, but lately, I've been getting less bad vibes from him. I'm actually most suspicious of LochNess, which is partly due to her lurking, I guess.

That's for my feelings; maybe I'll run through the thread and look at votes and bandwagons if I have time later tonight.

    That's a decent point.

So I'm thinking we should lynch LochNess.
