Also, Hexdrinker, Aegis, Treads, QSS, Bveil, Locket (HP Shield), Wit's End.

Or just slap on 3 null-magic mantles early since they build into stuff bruisers want anyways.

 

To be fair, those three champions can crush most mid laners in the game.

 

And leave them completely open to the various ad champs on my team. Great idea! Trade feeding kog for feeding the much more common ad damage champs! Shut down one in the name of helping 2-3. Btw, I cut through some with treads, qss, and maw, but it takes four or five shots instead of three.

I could crush Lux, and at least farm safely against yi pre rework. LB isn't so tough when you have a shield and a heal to survive her early ge. But the shield is weaker and the heal completely unreliable, now.

 

I wound up getting champs on free week, and going into skins I don't own, that was pretty cool to get to test run Emo Annie. That being said, I've been stuck with Nami a few times now in ARAM, and fucking hell she's horrible there.

 

Also, I have to comment on this lux-is-op thing. It's so terribly not true that its rage inducing. She's very good in certain teamcomps, but she super squishy, super slow, has high CDs most of the game, and all of her abilities are skillshots. Gank her early, gank her often. Like Mordekaiser. Bait out her q and gank is especially good vs her, but its more complicated than just trading so most players act like its impossible instead.

Work. The new job I have had the last 18 months is like... retarded stressful from mid March to Mid Nov. I'm still on most nights for 3-4 hours. Catch me either on Skype with Insect, FB trolling, or gaming. I recently got back in LoL pretty hard, picked up Panth and Garen and love them in Dom.

 

I just had a fun normals Jax went and Kog both went 0/7 in lane. Enemy Nasus and Graves were so incredibly fed. Also, the enemy had a legit team, while we had support Poppy and jungle Lulu. We were losing so badly. So finally, me and Talon were like..fuck it, time to troll.

So I sold an item, bought an oracles, a sightstone, and a bunch of normal wards. Got Talon and Poppy to follow me around the map and we started sniping people xD After like, 15 minutes of this bulltshit WE WON. Yaaaay~

Scarra plays AP Alistar mid and makes it look easy. I found this entire game to be hilarious. Laughed so much I probably set my sutures healing back half a week. I think I bled some from laughing so hard, but I don't care.

 

Into Silver I, averaging 13lp for a loss & 26 for a win so, fingers crossed I should be Gold V before I go to back to Uni.

So, anyone voted for the LCS AllStars teams yet? Considering it ensures a 3rd seed for your server at the World Finals, it's a rather serious event when I thought it was just a harmless bit of fun.

 

I thought I'd just throw this out there to put a little bit of perspective into just how good it actually is to be where you are in Ranked.

Silver 1 (believe it or not) is GOOD. It means you are better than 84-90% of the entire ranked playerbase. Don't hate yourselves so much.

 

I don't hate myself, I know for a fact I have the same 'I'm better than everyone else on my team' mentality a lot of the time even when playing support, which has been 80% of my games thus far from Silver IV into I. It doesn't irk me, what irks me is people making silly mistakes like chasing too deep or attacking an enemy under tower before me & getting turned on.

My problem is I expect people to be better than they are whilst also having some pretty horrible habits myself, comes from watching too much pro LoL and expecting everyone else to do the same and learn from it. I've learnt some nifty stuff, people just don't quite adapt or in-fact listen to the support, even when they have a flawless scoresheet and have fed your ADC into some kind of champion-eating machine.

Still, Silver's a fun place to be. A tad mind-numbing at times but fun as you said, we're the a small portion of the playerbase. Ranked playerbase that is. It just seems to be a lot more than that.

Oh well. Worst game today was me getting pigeon-holed into ADC, Caitlyn/Lulu vs Trist/Janna. A lane we theoretically should win but for some reason I took cleanse over barrier and paid for it. Trundle camping when they hit 6 - 9 sealed the deal whilst our Jungle Panth finished the game 0/7/0 and had the nerve to call me bad (0/6/3, I just... I cannot orb-walk so ADC is basically impossible for me).

 

Well on the one hand it's Scarra and on the other hand, it's an Eve mid. I lost to an AP mao once, not because he was good, but because as AP malph I had no counter to his push and 0 kill potential on him. Yesterday my friend's AP teemo had no answer to AP gangplank top. The AP GP just went chalice and then had infinite sustain.

A lot of matchups are just decided at picks, where here Eve can't punish the Alistar for CSing and will lose trades pretty much 100% of the time. You can see that she tries to with Q, but it's not the same as say an Ori ball+autoattacks or god forbid a cass throwing poisons and shit. On top of that, the Eve did run into melee range with Alistar and got stunned right as the jungler came into range.

Still though, entertaining match. I just hope I don't start seeing shit like this in my games. I lost a few matches a week ago because of the same APistar calling mid and being 100% useless.

 

Does anyone else find it weird that the go-to ADC for DLP seems to be cait?

I don't think I've seen any other ADC picked as often in DLP premades.

 

Well according to lolking she's currently the most popular champion in the game, so it's probably not that strange.

 

I got told she's the easiest ADC to learn the role with because as Oz said she has good poke through her naturally long range, a pretty basic kit that can do a multitude of things and she's not half bad for learning to harrass and last-hit. I can see it, though other people say Ezreal's much easier, though I don't see it.

My normal go-to is Graves because despite his short range I tend to do ok with him as he's an aggressive in-your-face carry unlike Cait. His main problem is his range is only 525 so nearly everyone can beat him up.

 

My go-to ADC is Jarvan IV, Crown Prince of Demacia.

 

It's always fun taking melee down to bot lane. Guys like Fiora, Jarvan IV, Pantheon, Rengar, Talon and Xin Zhao. Pair them up with a CC bot like Leona and watch the enemy support start crying because there's nothing they can do.
