Does anyone have a working link to Case13's stories like Divinity that weren't on FF? Zeta boards is down for me.

WizardOne, the one that started the TFF Archive, has decided to take the archive down for the moment seeing as all of the posts from TFF have been moved to a new board that is open to new members.

    http://thefanfictionforum.net/

However, it is available to be put back up in case something does happen to the new TFF.

First of all, Divinity is by Halcyon7, and not Case13/Fosfor.

If you go TFF's new site, and search for all threads by 'Halcyon7' with 'Divinity' in the title, you'll get a complete list of everything from the Prologue through to Chapter 10. http://thefanfictionforum.net/search.php

btw. To anyone else wondering, there's no extra pieces of Divinity there. The Chapter 10 thread ends at the same point that the TFF Archive ended. :(

For Want Of A Relic is a Fate Zero story, which is mainly told by Waver's point of view, in which he has summoned Lancer as his Servant.

    Summary:
It is not very long so far but rather interesting. Lancer and Waver make a nice combo and overall, it seems all of the Master-Servant pairings have been reshuffled. Same Servants but entirely different Masters and it makes for an interesting experience. So much so, that I would argue that I would rather follow Tokiomi and Kirei with their new Servants.

Anyway, nice work so far but not good enough for the library. Still, 4/5 so far.

    The Effect of Diaspora

is a Mass Effect/Honor Harrington Crosssover. It is an entertaining read but don´t expect literary greatness. Till now it is a more less typical First Contact story with humanity pretty much destroying everything Which is not that surprising given that Canon Turians have only a bit over 30 Dreadnoughts while Honor Verse has massive fleets.

    http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8451929/1/The-Effect-of-Diaspora

In would give it maybe 3/5 depending on how and if it continues.

Eventual slash. Will probably put me off enough to drop it if it ever gets that far, but I'll give it a read for now.

Edit: I'm loving the dialogue in this. :awesome Especially the classic ending to the 8th chapter.
It's not as tech heavy as some other mass effect cross and I have no idea what Honor Harrington is but definitely going to follow this.

It is a Sci-Fi series by David Weber and something like a classic in the military/sci-fi genre. Most of the now typical plots appear in it. Good looking female Protagonist, telepathic alien pets, semi plausible technology and of course the typical monarchy fanboyism.
Like the FF the books can be enjoyable but clearly not the work of a god.

And yeah sorry about the slash.. forget the warning but like you say no sign of it yet.

I also have something even better.

Alpha and Omega, is a Mass Effect/Evangelion Crossover. Post Evangelion Shinji+ Eva gets transported/crashed unto post ME3 Omega and meets people. The story is strangely enough a romance between Shinji and Aria with many entertaining cameos.

Thought it was fairly average. Lancer acting like an overly shy schoolgirl most of the time just ended up really getting on my nerves after a while, and the interactions sometimes made me wonder whether I was a reading a Lancer/Waver pairing.

I thought it was more interesting seeing the other Master's trying to deal with their own servants. But I think that was more for the novelty of seeing Kiritsugu pissing the hell out of Gilgamesh, or Tokiomi facepalming at Iskander's antics.

Don't think I'd rate this more than 3/5. Depending on where the plot goes, it may go up a little bit.

I'll second this, but bear in mind that this Shinji isn't very...Shinji. It's a romance between him and Aria, rife with political maneuvering by other parties and chaos from the general anarchy of Omega. Good read, regular updates, solid grammar, interesting plot (it's slowly forming); 3.5/5 for now, possibly 4/5, but this is shaping up to be a long story. Give it some time to develop before it's submitted for the library.

I like the story as a guilty pleasure kind of thing. My one, main issue is that Aria doesn't act like Aria would. In ME, she's the baddest bitch around Omega and probably even the entire known area. In this, she's... not. Especially to Shinji.

That said, I loved the Tevos and Sha'ira scene.

Agreed. I wont say its the best of stories since the characters seem to be a bit off.

Then again this is set in the aftermath of the Reaper War so personality changes arent unexpected I would think.

    I'd recommend it.

    StarCraft + Mass Effect Crossover
The Great Wars are over. Jim Raynor and his men have left the Koprulu Sector behind, choosing to settle a world away from that sector of space. Unfortunately, the colony of Shanxi is not safe; hostile aliens have invaded, intent on controlling the Terrans and their bizarre technology. Unfortunately for the Turians, the Terrans have experience fighting hostile alien invaders.
    Space Battles
    FF.net
Note: The Space Battles thread always has the latest chapter updates.

I've really been enjoying this crossover so far. The author has managed to blend the two universes really well together, with a healthy dose of respect for both source materials. The beginning of the story is very much military sci-fi, but as of the latest update on Space Battles, it's also begun to focus on diplomacy and intrigue. The update rate is fairly quick, which is great. There are a few typos throughout, but nothing a half-decent beta couldn't fix. Honestly, if this was a bit longer, I would nominate it for the library. But right now, almost recommendable seems more appropriate.

That is somewhat interesting, I feel I should point out that the thread has such massive bullshit on it that it is probably best to read from ff.net then track the equivalent and go from there.

Yeah, the thread is really long and full of discussion, but in the very first post, the author supplies links to all the updates, like a contents page. So, the Space Battles version is fairly accessible anyway.

I mean, it's spacebattles; your average poster there is syed. Still, there's a lot of great stuff so I post and occasionally comment. I'll check it out, been wanting some good Starcraft to waste the taste of modern Metzen out.

What I've read is pretty good so far. I'll admit that The Battle of Shanxi is one of my favorite settings for Mass Effect crossovers. Unfortunately, not many stories really continue it after that. Hopefully this one does that and continues. Looking forward to how the Zerg and the Protoss affect the Citadel races.

    Title: The Night Parade

    Rating: T
    Genre: Drama/Romance
    Status: Completed; 105,000 words
    Pairings: Superman/ Power Girl
Summary:Set in the New 52. Superman and Power Girl. They say nothing good happens after Midnight...

First off I love this story.

The plot centers around Clark actually acting like a reporter after the events of Worlds Finest 4, figuring out what Power Girl is, who she's claiming to be and then confronting her about it. I love how the author handles not just their relationship(which is nonexistent right now in the comics)but all the relationships in the new 52.

As to why I'm putting it here instead of up for review, well, there's a lot of angst in some chapters which I know will turn people off, when you combine that with the fact you this story's probably unreadable for anyone who's not pretty caught up with whats been happening in the New 52.

I still personally give it a solid 4 though.

    Title: Mass Effect: Interloper
    Author: M.B. Liddle
    Rating: T
Summary: Follow the adventures of Michael Liddle as he quite literately falls into the ME universe. A self insert covering the events of the first entry of the series. Follows the story of the Normandy crew and more as they strive to save a changing galaxy.

Title: Interloper 2: The Collector Crisis
    Author M.B. Liddle
    Rating: T
Summary: Two and a half years after he helped Shepard destroy the Reaper Sovereign, Michael Liddle restlessly waits for the Commander's return. He knows what is coming, but will he be able to stop it? A continuation of Mass Effect: Interloper. Self Insert. Rated T for Terrific.

Now, just like most people here, I normally wouldn't touch self-insert fics with a barge pole, but I've found this to be surprisingly readable. In the original story, the author's character mysteriously pops up at Eden Prime during you-know-what, ends up triggering the Beacon and tagging along in the chase of Saren. He keeps it a secret that he is from another reality, but he uses his knowledge of the plot to subtly influence events and make himself useful.

What I like about this fic is its restraint, I guess. I wasn't really struck by many Gary Stu-ish moments (except one scene in Ch. 4 of the original), and the main character isn't any sort of instant badass; instead, he has a lot to learn, he has to adapt to the new world he's in and to earn the trust of people around him. The main character does make some changes based on his foreknowledge, and those changes have effects later on, but he is realistically limited in what he can do. Most importantly, in its best moments, I believe the story manages to capture the feel of what it might actually be like to be dumped in the Mass Effect reality.

The downside of this is that the other characters are essentially the versions that we see in the games, and there is not much development there. Also, some of the chapters do correspond to the side missions, and not all of them are that interesting to read about. Naturally, this fic presumes that you know about the Mass Effect universe already and I can't imagine it being enjoyable to anyone otherwise.

If you read Mass Effect fics, you might want to give this a try. To me it has been a guilty pleasure of sorts.

What are the consequences that arise from a reincarnation that was never supposed to happen? And who knows what changes would be wrought should the memories of a past life ever be regained... — OC self-insert. Gen. [semi-hiatus]

I truly think this is capable of being in the review section but decided to throw it in here first. As the title says it is a OC self-insert....but really as the protagonist has no knowledge of her past it is more of an OC in the Naruto world. One that is however excellently done in all manners from character to dialogue and story telling. In the Naruto fanfiction we are normally just beholden to stories where the character is unbelievably strong in either character or abilities and I believe this story sheds a light on something that was both new and interesting to read about.
