I remember a story. harry potter was a ravenclaw in his fifth year, and he had a secret room somewhere. he was probably in ravenclaw and i think i remember him fighting a monster across the rooftops of hogwarts.

An Unfound Door

 

This thing is like the fanfiction version of Tainted Love, stuck in my head and won't get the hell out.

Help.

Harry and Hermione travel back from a future where Voldemort won (I think they just gave up fighting after a while) they end up in their 11 year old bodies, end up dressing as dementors or something and going after the Malfoys. Real dementors come and suck the soul fragment from the diary. Dumbledore was stealing their gold, Harry walks into Gringotts and tells Ragnok that he'll wipe out their race if he doesn't get his money back. Massive confrontation at Hogwarts, Dumbledore executed, Snape executed, Voldemort trapped in a bubble, Amelia Bones as headmaster. The end.

No idea why I need to reread it since I can pretty much remember everything about it, but I figure it's the only way to get it out of my head.

 

I gotta admit, I'd rather read a crappy roflstomp than most of what is featured in dlp's library most of the time. I wish I could remember more, but this is all that is coming to me right now:

What plums writes is ROFLSTOMP alright, but utterly bland and mostly harem. His only kinda saving grace is that he started a rewrite of bluminous8 Sword and Magic, and it is kinda good in a guilty pleasure way...

 

It's hard to find a good god mode fanfic that doesn't involve the hero getting all of the girls though.

I just reread the first chapter of Wizard Hidden in the Leaf and I'd like to rescind my previous recommendation. It's really bad, not even ten sentences into the story and I'm sure I'd rather punch myself in the face than carry on reading, I apologize for bringing the story into this thread.

 

"Wizard Hidden in the Leaf" was good enough, I didn't hit anything that made stop reading out of horror. Yes the first chapter indicates a horrible "the world betrayed me!" indi harry fic, but luckily we don't deal with the wizarding world again. The most annoying thing about the rest of the story is that he made sasuke insubordinate. But we don't see sasuke more than a couple times.

Best of all there are absolutely no romantic relationships in this story.

 

It's a good thing there aren't any, the author only does slash.

I distracted myself before I even got around to asking earlier, but I'm trying to find an older fic where James finds out that Lily never actually loved him so he uses "family magic" to make her a squib and then locks her away from the world, telling everyone that she went nuts.

Does anyone know of any good stories where Ron travels back in time?

Some basic searches on fanfiction.net didn't turn up much; usually if Ron goes back, so does everyone and their mother. Just Ron, or Ron and maybe one or two others, is a concept that's interested me recently.

 

Gryffindors Never Die; Harry and Ron, old bastards, go back in time to their Hogwarts days and bring all their vices and attitudes with them.

 

Doing it all over again is by no means a good story. But it does have a Ron Weasley who travels back to 1991 before his Hogwarts.

Warning: Pretty serious Hermione bashing hinted.

 

I've actually read that first story before; found it mildly amusing.

That second story is the type of story I'm looking for, but the style and quality definitely leaves a lot be desired.

Any good Harry as a bodyguard stories out there? I cant find any.

 

I haven't read that many of these to be honest. The only one that immediately comes to mind is Deprived. H/Fleur, WBWL, a number of cliches, and seemingly abandoned, but a decent way to pass the time if you're looking for something to read.

 

Hello, does anyone hear about a story where Harry is rised by his future self, someone named Demois(or something like Demon) who is his uncle, James blood adpoted brother. He came from demension where he was in Ravenclaw and friends with Hermione and Draco. He refused to fight Dumbledore's war and headmaster did something to him and Harry, Hermione and Draco joined Voldemort. War got out of hand, Voldemort was killed Harry got in trubles and got something from Malfoy manor and it gave him power but he couldn't comtrol it while fighting. Draco became a zombie and Hermione some kind of snake hybrid. Draco and Hermione traveled with Harry to the past. And i guess Demois lived in Italy with Harry.
I read that story about a year ago on ff.net and can't find it anywhere so I would appreciate if someone could help me.

So I was looking up why treacle tart seems to be Harry's favorite food in every fic ever, when I came across this in the Amortentia entry:

"It was stated by J.K. Rowling that a large fountain filled with Amortentia could be found in the Love Room in the Department of Mysteries."

Uh, what? This seems to be the perfect set-up for some crack fic. Does anyone know of a good one involving this mysterious love fountain?
