I haven't kept up with this story since about chapter 26, how close is it to completion? I was thinking of a reread, but if it's very close to finished, I'll wait a little bit.

 

I thought it was finished? Though the main characters are still Ash and Misty, maybe there will be something more...

 

It is done. Says "The End" at the bottom of the chapter and everything. The author also said he's going to write more Pokemon stories as well.

What a freaking amazing story. 50 Caliber did fantastic work. I would order pretty much anyone who hasn't read this to get to it, now. I've read the entire DLP C2, and the number of stories in it that can compare to this one I can count off on the fingers of one hand.

 

It was a great story.

Though I wasn't as much of a fan of the whole Mewtwo/Ash merger thing, with him basically becoming a God at the end. And then everything just works out happily ever after.

I get the vibe he rushed the ending; although it shouldn't be held against him too harshly.

I loved the story that he took us through and here's to it's completion.

Also, if he reads DLP, congratulations on getting married! Does your wife know about your fanfiction?

 

It wasn't really a good ending but it wasn't bad enough to ruin the story for me. All in all, it was an enjoyable read.

 

I followed the story from the very beginning. Every chapter that came out had me hooked but then I went away from FF for a while and sort of forgot about it. Came back and caught up a week before the final chapter came out. Excellent in one way but also made me feel that it ended very... abruptly. Kind of disappointed but the fic was excellent throughout and there was no other real way to combat Mewtwo's power, incorporate the title (That I think he created before seeing past Vermillion) and wrap it up in one go.

End of the day we have a completed, massive, good quality fic in Pokemon. Let's appreciate it for what it is and not bitch. <3

 

I think 50Cal built up the power of the genetically altered Pokemon and the Legendaries a bit too much. Well, too much without balancing it with Legendaries who were a bit less "raging gods of fire and ice" towards humans, like Mew.

I really enjoyed this story though, and I still think it's a 5/5 but the ending wasn't as good as I hoped.

 

If Mew felt like doing so it could probably played whack-a-mole with any member of the Elite Four. Thankfully it does not appear that Mew cares to notice humanity at all.

So, I was finally planning to get around to rereading this, when I saw this on 50cal's profile.

Is he serious? I feel like he must be joking, but if he's not... wow.

 

Holy fuckin shit. And their getting Game of Thrones guys to voice people? This sounds too good to be true.

 

Which is exactly why I slightly skeptical, but mostly hoping it's true.
