We lynch Kalas, he flips scum, I/Rubicon get nightkilled, then it's up to Rubicon/Sesc/Fontisian for the three-man lylo.

I'm actually thinking that Rubicon might be some neutral of some sort.

But Kalas is like 100% scum.

Sesc feels town by gut, but Fontisian feels town by brains. If I survive tonight, it's going to come down to brains vs. gut, to me.

Explain your brain's town read on fontisian, Prophylaxis? I have the opposite impression, that she's townish by gut but her votes and position on wagons are suspicious as hell. And I've learned not to trust my gut about fontisian.

Also, why have you bumped Sesc up to your town list?

I don't know what happened: I submitted the protect for Typhon, Typhon died. I asked Eidolonic last night if I'd been blocked and he told me he couldn't answer, but that seems like the obvious explanation.

Very possible that the mafia may have been blocking you the entire time, but that's a fairly powerful mafia.

I have bumped Sesc up because some of his posts felt like gut!town. Like that frustration when no lynching. Why do you think that Sesc is town?

Fontisian's posts have a analytical side to them, like he/she's trying to move the game along. I'll go review the position of the wagons/reread Font more closely soon.

Kalas: First off, sorry for the snarky comment. I was angry over the lack of activity and I took it out on you.

That doesn't excuse your end of the day activity. You've got to make a choice. You can't just put off the decision to vote forever. Tell me your scum reads with your reasoning.

Rubicon: You are an asset to scum when you do nothing to help us scumhunt. Why did you shift the lynch to Moridin?

A roleblocker and rolecop seems overpowered. I'm also wondering how a roleblocker would interact with the Masons. A oneshot protection piercing kill seems slightly more likely, IMO.

On Roleclaiming: I've already claimed vanilla anyway. I am a Lemon Spatula. It sounds pretty sweet until you realize that everything I make is lemon flavored. I'm not sure that everyone should claim though, especially when we might have a roleblocker. As Stojil said when I proposed this in Mini Mafia 2:

Alright, Prophylaxis is probably town. I'm inclined to think that Kalas and Sesc are the last two scum, but Rubicon's last minute rescue of Sesc is really suspicious. It was almost as scummy as Kalas' apparent inability to make up his mind. I think we're better off lynching Sesc than Kalas, because Sesc is more likely to be a Rubicon teammate if he is actually scum.

This bothers me a bit:

because I'm imagining what would have happened if Sesc had succesfully led a lynch on me. I would have flipped town, but Sesc still would have had a nice shot of leading another lynch on Moridin, because he was the "easier lynch."

On the other hand, my gut read is that Sesc is genuinely trying to help town while Kalas is just commenting enough to confirm that he is still playing the game.

I'll reread this monstrosity and get back to you guys in the next 14 hours or so. I would appreciate if it someone else would post something in the meantime.

 

If you want to lynch Sesc first, then Kalas, then why do you flip flop on him? "Sesc is trying to help town, while Kalas is commenting enough"?

Make note of this post if Kalas flips scum.

I re-read a lot of the thread and I still think Sesc is our best bet.
