    Oh god, memories!

I remember the first time I played Pokemon. My mum just randomly bought me a Gameboy with Pokemon Yellow. It wasn't a special occasion, not even close to my birthday or Christmas. Only time she's ever bought me something expensiveish like that, and I still remember the wonder that game elicited.

    Right, nostalgic episode over.

I can safely say that Pokemon Yellow raised me almost as much as my parents.

Pokemon Yellow taught me to read more than my school did and showed me the wonders of an adventure and the good fight against evil. I have recently passed my original Game Boy Colour and Pokemon games on to my eight year old brother. Keep the journey alive, bro.

Screw you all for making feel so old >.<. I still remember getting one of those original ancient cinder block size black and white Gameboys when it was brand spanking new.

To be fair, it could still be classed as a fake XY screenshot.

Well. I suppose that's because I deleted the album a few days after posting.

Can a mod take care of that? I can't edit the post.

Pokemon Red taught me that civilization is an illusion posited by one's investment in the common social contract (made to fulfill the hierarchy of needs of the many), subjectively dispellable by a process as simple as choosing to do so. Once discarded, a meritocracy (merit encompassing both personal resources and those powers garnered from external forces such as influence) would appear, taking the place of a 'true' form of society, if such a thing could be said to objectively exist, this meritocracy only sustaining the illusion to the necessary majority required to sustain the highest percentile of the most skilled peers.

Also, Max Repel is your friend and the mark of a man is going through Rock Tunnel without Flash.

I had (and still have) Dark Cave memorized by the time crystal came out, all because I refused to teach my pokemon Flash.
