Oh god, memories!

I remember the first time I played Pokemon. My mum just randomly bought me a Gameboy with Pokemon Yellow. It wasn't a special occasion, not even close to my birthday or Christmas. Only time she's ever bought me something expensiveish like that, and I still remember the wonder that game elicited.

Right, nostalgic episode over.

 

I can safely say that Pokemon Yellow raised me almost as much as my parents.

 

Pokemon Yellow taught me to read more than my school did and showed me the wonders of an adventure and the good fight against evil. I have recently passed my original Game Boy Colour and Pokemon games on to my eight year old brother. Keep the journey alive, bro.

 

I'm not letting any snot nosed eight year old anywhere near my gameboy or my yellow :/
