Which is why the games that aren't announced are way the fuck more interesting than the games we already know about (and sequels.)

Well, it's Infinity Ward. It'll either be really good, or god awful. I know which one I'm leaning towards right now.

They motion-captured a dog. It's going to be amazing for that alone.

...Except for when they captured the "realistic" motion of the dog actor licking his own nuts.

I'm interested in pretty much everything except final fantasy... god I'm tired of that franchise already.

I'm going to cross-post this in the Xbone thread because of its relevance, but:

The Microsoft E3 Conference will take place at 9:30 AM PDT today. That's 12:30 Eastern.

I decided to watch the COD: Ghosts release video, but after they started talking about how revolutionary their new game is, how they set the bar for the previous generation, and how no one saw another COD coming, I was laughing too hard to pay attention, and just closed it. I think I lasted 30 seconds?

Wait, is this what games actually look like now? Was any of it prerendered or was it all in-engine?

The logic employed in the Dead Rising game made me laugh so hard. Who the fuck jogs through a crowd of zombies? Who the fuck takes the time to kneel down and MacGyver a duct-taped combo-weapon when a zombie is 5 feet away from you?

I mean... I get that they're slow... but come on.

If you're referring to MGS, then I don't think it was pre-rendered. The new FOX engine was apparently built with photorealism as the main goal. I don't know about the technical specifics, but they were talking about the engine when MGSV was first announced.

Christ, how much cash did Microsoft float to the Spike "E3 Coverage" show?

"$500 is about what I expected for a console that is essentially a powerful home computer that just focuses on games and media. This won't be a problem for the hardcore gamers, and I think that even 'casual' gamers will pay the money."

After trying to play DR1 back then and the emphasis is on trying I've always wondered how people manage to stay alive long enough because it's only a matter of time to get overwhelmed. At least that's how felt after dieing all the time.

The parts the have him riding around and sneaking look like they're all ingame. Some parts look like cut-scenes though, not sure if those were prerendered or in-engine. As a guy who's never played a metal gear game this has really gotten me interested in the series. I might even pick up the legacy collection when its released in July.

Not to mention being able to call in an artillery strike. In a game where all the fun is bashing zombies up with everyday items whats the point of calling in an airstrike.
