"Always an even trade" would work better, it's short like most of the house words and it has aspects of both the unofficial Lannister one and refences the gelding incident. However that is less than obvious, still works better than most imo.

 

Slightly off topic, but that armour set looks like Ornstein's armour (from Dark Souls) crossed with Daedric Armour.

Most of the stuff there is way too stylized as well, wouldn't fit in the GoT/ASOIF world.

 

I havn't been able to find anything that let's you custom armor.

I would think he would wear a better made Lannister armor with different inlaids and stuff. Kinda like TV Joff's armor in the Blackwater battle, Armor.

And Tywin's armor in the TV series aswell, Armor.

On that note, am I the only one that excepted different armor in the tv series? Seem a little weak compared to what I imagined when I read the books.

 

Always an even trade is better. About the armor, something like what they use in Joan D'Arc? Those armors were crazy awesome but still real. I suggest something like the Teutonic Knights used, at least in the Total War game.

 

I kinda went another direction. I went ahead and looked at the armor used in the lotr movies and I have to say I like the armor of Théoden. Link.

But if the motiff on the armor was a lion, and maybe with a different color scheme and slight changes made to it, like the helm and stuff.

And if you're lucky you have a fan that's skillfull with a pen that could draw it

 

I was looking at various armors, but didn't find anything interesting. I wanted it to be more sleek than an usual armor and with a modern twist in its look to show that a part of Harry is from a different world and times.

But I found this nice image. Replace the character in it with Harry as an adult and it fits him well since red and black are his colors.

 

I could draw it myself. I've been an artist far longer than I've been a writer.

That's not exactly the same armor though it's a good one too.

There's already been talk of black cloaks for his guard and whatnot, so it might be more appropriate if the cloak were black with red lining. The gold trim would still look good, I think.

Yeah, but two-handed or a shorter one-hander with a shield?

Of all the fighting done in the TV series it seems like everybody is crazy for the big two-hander.

 

Because most of them use full plate armors, making shield unecessary, except when the other side have crossbows. In that case, a huge wood shield is ideal, not very heavy and great cover, also, no big loss losing it. Personally I think one handed sword would be ideal for him. A sabre, Hussard style would be better, but too far-fetched. It's more manageable and when using it you expose less than with a 2H. A bastard sword, one and half hand, is not as maneuverable but have more punch, and can be used with a shield.

To me the ideal weapon for his guard, should be a Halberd, great against armored infantry and cavalry, there is no better weapon for defending a position and they are awesome. A versatile axe/spear. Any more? And can someone answer me if the guys from Norvos, do they use a Bardiche or a simple 2H axe? In portuguese they called it "huge axe" but a Bardiche is a kind of 2H axe, but the blade is very different, and I can't remeber if they detailed it.

Despite the impracticality of it, I just see Harry going with a regular sword--maybe hand-and-a-half--and no shield. It fits the 'Warrior Prince' persona, plus the carryover of his previous life's experience wielding a single weapon (a wand) would make it fit.

 

Or he goes the way of the Viper and uses a spear but I guess there would be little reason for him to pick that up with hardly anyone using that other than the people in Dorne and those overseas.

Hammer, after his father is one thing but I guess he would have to be older before starting that.

One Handed sword should be best as long as it is not a black katana named ShadowDeath of DarknessSlayer that only recognises Harry as its master, which makes him recite bad poetry whenever he kills someone with it.

 

I like the idea of him using Robert's hammer. Or his own hammer. Hammers are just super boss, okay.

 

Swords are what pretty much everyone else uses. They're iconic and effective enough. Just give him that.

 

To use a Hammer effectively you must be crazy strong, specially a 2H warhammer, Harry definetily isn't there yet, also the fighting style sre too differents. But after seeing this http://www.valyriansteel.com/images/bighammer.jpg I really want him with a hammer.
