So are there any half decent stories with a Daphne, Tracey, Astoria, Susan Bones or Hannah Abbot pairing that are recentish and don't suck? I've been through most of the library so at this point I'm looking for anything that hasn't come up on DLP as far as for review and so on. Most of the older stories I've already been through, but if there's anything people can think of it would be greatly appreciated.

At this point I'll settle for anything that isn't too incomprehensible or another pointless harem/ super-lord Potter ect.

Yea that isn't really a crossover more Harry being a character in Naruto. Also it's littered in honorifics, Harry is called Hari-kun etc.

 

The honorifics do add a certain dimension to the relationships between characters when used correctly, allowing the reader to imply their standing socially and their previous history(to a degree). The rampant misuse in most fanfiction does leave a bad taste in my mouth though.

Personally, I feel a certain number of Japanese words help maintain the setting, Konohagakure/Konoha versus "Village Hidden in the Leaves". On the flipside, there's abominations like "Oh my Kami!".

Aside from those points, you're probably wasting your time. HP and Naruto do not cross in a way that is remotely pretty. HP and most anime don't cross well, in fact. I'm still convinced the fact that Nuhuh pulled off an HP/Bleach crossover is simply testament to his creativity rather than any inherent compatibilities between the universes.

I wish there were more worthwhile HP/Naruto crossovers since I'm generally uninterested in fanfiction outside of those fandoms, but so far Uchiha Fukurou is the only decent one I've found.

There's some decent ones outside of HP, but I can't think of any that're good within the fandom.

Keeping with ponies, I'd rec The Best Night Ever. It is a true Groundhog day story, more focused on the emotional journey of the main character than fandom wankery. This is a fanfiction based upon the Grounghog Day movie, not the abominable Chunin Exam Day and its many clones.

 

Oh yeah... That's a good one. But the sequel isn't anywhere near, and I abandoned it ten chapters in.
