Probably I should mention it before but requested element appears toward end of the story and sequel is WIP.

 

This, so much. The Best Night Ever is one of my all time favourite fanfictions in any fandom, most due to its excellent readability. I must've read it five or six times, and, in fact, once again just this morning.

It's very much a Groundhog Day fic, not just a 'repeat the same day over and over', and more of a characterisation piece than a power-up piece. The author takes some elements directly from the film but transposes them well, in my opinion, to the new format. It's not too long, and pretty easy to read in one sitting. The main character is Prince Blueblood, which could put some people off, but he's always been a guilty pleasure of mine anyway.

 

Any good or even semi-decent stories where Draco starts in on Harry verbally and Harry gives back as good as he gets? So tired of Harry going for his wand or using his fists rather than taunting Draco back.

 

Pretty sure Refugees of Azkaban by BajaB has Riddle taking over Lockhart.

Here is one where Harry and Voldemort are on the same side. I don't remember horcruxes being mentioned yet though. And Dumbledore is horrendously evil. But it is not slash.

Any well-written stories where Harry is romantically entangled with an exceptionally well-written female original character?

I can think of one vaguely, off the top of my head - Behind Blue Eyes, where's he's with a muggle girl, but that's all.

Also, any where he's with an older (meaning not a nine or ten year old) Gabrielle in his Hogwarts years, or with other characters along these lines?

 

Does anyone know a time travel story where instead of appearing in his young body, Harry is a separate, adult person?
