Fixing a slip isn't the point, you making it is. I know that I've made mistakes as scum that should/have given me away because I was posting from a perspective where I didn't think of myself as town.

A lot of thought rather than a lot of time, but the point still stands. The passive-aggressive response also speaks of someone trying to stick to the background.

I expect you to have more than just meh, meh, meh, scum because he voted for me, derped must be scum, meh, could be either. There's been two days and a vote's worth of stuff to go over. There's plenty of evidence there.

Find some proof and suggest it then! I just want you to pick a side that isn't self defence. Scumhunt, accuse, seek evidence to back up your hunches.

So right now, give me a scum team. Any scum team. Explain why you think they may be scum and back it up with evidence.

You mean forced to air your opinions after you clearly stated that you had noticed "a lot of scum behavior" and yet you didn't share? Sure.

He said he can't read me, but it's actually me that can never really read him, mostly because he rarely makes sense and some of his posts literally give me headaches (case in point, post #163), and that is both as town and scum.

In this game, he derped (grammar, wording and mechanics mistakes), lurked, NO-U'd and defended himself with alternating success from decent accusations and hardcore-tunneling/random-pressure by you.

At the moment, I wouldn't be surprised by any flip.

Anyway, it's 4 AM and I need sleep. Some quick points: Aekiel ignored post #139, Kalas is being extra safe and has yet to put down a vote (meta-weird), Rubicon gives me horrible vibes and is seriously flirting with rolefishing, Sesc has conveniently disappeared after winning the election and jwlk and Seratin are still missing.

My vote stays on Rents at least until he answers those questions, but I would be okay with pretty much any lynch, right now. Good night.

Well, it's not really tunnelling because I've only spent a couple of posts on him. I'd have posted more had I not spent the entirety of yesterday doing RL stuff.

It honestly didn't occur to me at the time I wrote it. I realise that it narrows the field for the jwlk and if we hit the Hermonies/lynch immune with it we may be effectively giving the jwlk the targets he needs... Actually, that's quite a dangerous prospect right there.

It's a conundrum whether we should risk giving the jwlk more power in order to eliminate scum quicker. That said, the longer the game goes on, the more power the jwlk gains. I say we use it, but cautiously. Only lynch if we're more certain than not or the flip is game changingly important.

Also, as a strategy for later in the game (I think this problem came up in the game I was the Ashaya in): the Incarcerate vote is pretty much meant for the jwlk. If he exposes himself, we Asylum him, the Moridin attacks (if he's able) then Incarcerate, lynch the most likely Eidolonic, the Moridin attacks (if he was unable the first night), then we lynch the jwlk.

This is the part that's worrying me. Then again, when I became scum!Mayor it made me fairly giddy that the plan had worked, which came through after the vote finalised and things started going wrong for me.

 

So Fonts definition of scum is me saying she could be something other than scum? That isn't not me role fishing, that's me trying to make sense your scummy actions Fonts.

Well, several more pages have happened since I was stopped in earlier, but I've gone through them now. Let's see if I have anything useful(matter of perspective) to say.

Jon still bugs me a bit, but that might just be his ballsy(?) playstyle. Just say whatever with little concerns. He seems to do the same regardless of faction, though, so I can't really say much there. Watchful of him at the moment. Well, as watchful as one can be, considering.:facepalm

It's a bit late, but I agree upon review with whoever said that it seems Wetnurse just meant he is likely to survive two nights of kills, as opposed to two night kills. Not that it implies an agreement of innocence, though. Leaning on the mistake angle more than scum at the moment.

Stojil is as aggressive as usual. Perhaps a bit more so, even. Probably town-ish, but that's the general perception of highly-inquisitive players. I'll admit that his aggressiveness usually turns me off of him, even when he's town, though.

Fontisian is... Fontisian. The hat-in, hat-out was notable, and I think I would say she is somewhat scummy overall.

Honestly not sure what to think of the back-and-forth between Riley and Aekiel(with a dash of Stojil for flavor). My guess is that at least one of them is scum, if not both of them from differing factions.

Only other standout off the top of my head was the stuff with Vira. Rather place her as neutral at the moment. She was almost overly-defensive, but it seemed... genuine(?) Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but as I said. Not especially town or scum at the moment.

I realize I've been away, so if there are any specific questions, go ahead, and I'll try my hand at an answer if possible. Hopefully relatively promptly. Just playing Civ 5 with a friend online.

Well, they are doing both 'this' and 'that'. Anyway, as I already said, the people I was currently most concerned about were Jon, Fontisian and either or (or both) of Aekiel and Riley.

If choosing any one out of them, then I believe at this time I would do:

Hey, guys, we've established (long long ago) that Jon can't actually automerge. Like, 10 games ago, 2 years ago, whatever.

You guys shouldn't be playing for postcount. You should be playing for content.

One good post is better than ten terrible ones. Several good posts with a string of clarifications, follow up questions etc etc is probably fine.

Remember, we're playing to have fun - not every rule is hard and fast and hard and fast - if anything attack someone for breaking the spirit of the rules rather than not following rules to the direct letter in cases where this type of mindset is probably applicable. I trust all of you to use your brains as to what I mean by applicable.
