    Some more Shokugeki no Soma

Nikumi and A5 beef was expected if a tiny bit unwelcome the second time she mentioned it. All good apart from that, in my opinion, though!

    Tower of God
pretty much an annoying filler chapter
dammit this arc is too big. too many plot points and a lack of coverage are making it drag out now

What, is it too tender from the beating it took last time?

Not yet, no. Souma still needs to give it a proper pounding.

This week's Beelzebub was by far one of the best chapters of the series (IMHO). And the next few chapters, hell probably the next few arcs are looking pretty good right about now.

I agree, that was the best chapter of all time.

So, Oga is going home? Did they kind of, just forget about saving Furuichi from dying?

    Cooking.

Kinda >_> about the ending developments here. I realize that it's probably necessary for the sake of setting up the next major plot arc, but I would really have been much happier if the break from Tootsuki had been complete until then, rather than having this tie back into the school.

    Tower of God.

Nice chapter, it's great to see SIU getting away from uninspired fight scenes and back to doing more of what he does best (character interaction).

Also, Androssi in a party dress.

    Fixed ^^

But yes it is quite nice to see SIU drop the DBZ impressions and do what he's best at. Sometimes I think that he tries too hard to emulate normal shounen mangas...
We have Noblesse as a webtoon to do that to some (read:most) extent.

Noblesse mimics Shojo way more than Shonen. Overpowered pretty male vampires being overpowered and having vague homoerotic subtext? That's half the manga in the demographic right there.

So I've been feeling for a while that this turned into a Tower of God thread instead of everything else manga thread. Being bored, I decided to try the series. And... well, damn. Just read the entire thing today, and it's one of the best manga (manhwa) in a long while. Definitely addicting. The world SIU has created is pretty amazing, and the characters overall are very good. The whole test things reminds me a little of HxH, and the world is appropriately dark. Just a really cool series.

I like how it has evolved over time. Well, chiefly how the main character changed over the time skip. Originally, he was your standard goody two-shoes shining hero protagonist, but I find him much more enjoyable after he grew that long hair. His goal of chasing after the female... I thought it was okay at first, then when we met her, I'm like "are you kidding me?" and then after the awesome plot twist, I'm waiting to see how it goes.

Speaking of plot twists. Some really good ones, like how part 1 ended. And the most recent one, the reward of winning the workshop battle. Keeps you interested. The battles are kinda shitty, but the character interactions and world building is pretty boss.

Androssi is probably my favorite, after Viole. The lizard chick can go to hell. Koon (the original one) is also very enjoyable to read about. The newest flame chick princess is pretty cool, and Yuri is scary. The rest are sorta meh =p I don't like the tracksuit 'Killer Arts' guy, or the old woman from the first part. Ajunna? The characters in second part are just more interesting in general.

Anyways, a very cool series, and I'm glad to have picked it up.

The best part of this chapter is that it neatly sets up Androssi and Yihwa meeting. That could be hilariously explosive. Poor Baam.

err I think somebody called the 'Grim Reaper' of the Solomon Company is a bit out of Oga's league. Seriously even if you review the fight against the Naruto parody guy you realize that Oga really doesn't know how to use demon power aside for powering up a fist to somebody's face. And sooner or later that won't work against somebody...my bet is that it's gonna be like that against this fellow.

or Oga'll kick the living shit out of him...50/50 I'll say

Yeah, given that he only won this fight because of Himekawa's plan, it would be pretty weird if he could then beat this guy. Especially given that he's just spent half that fight having the shit beaten out of him.

I mean, it could happen, but it would mean that he could have won without Himekawa, which would mean Himekawa got everyone beaten up and Furuichi nearly killed for nothing and therefore makes him not only an unlikeable character but also stupid.

    AAAWWWW SHEEEEEEEET

Viole brand industrial espionage? The Special Items are finally going to be used?! Viole and Androssi and Yihwa AND RAK MEETING?!

    Upcoming chapters confirmed best chapters.
