    I have a question.
We all know that ninja who leave their villages are considered missing-nin and hunted by special forces. But what if genin doesn't want to be a ninja anymore? How does one retire from ninja forces if they aren't crippled or dead? Is it even possible?

By turning in their headbands? I'm not sure simply quitting is a big deal by itself and one of the first things Kakashi told Team 7 is that they should quit as shinobi. Most, if not all, the missing-nin we see didn't just leave their village, they ran away after or while performing criminal acts.

It probably isn't all that common anyway since, depending on why they're retiring, they could be reassigned to a different duty or division.

What about training, jutsu? I don't think any hidden village would want their ninja freelancing or selling secrets and techniques.

Probably not a huge deal for genin since it's unlikely they'd know anything important. To actually prevent that kind of thing though, there could be a couple of ways e.g. fuuinjutsu/juuinjutsu that stops them from using chakra or any village-related info from being divulged, mental blocks that force them to forget things, a failsafe that destroys their body upon death etc. Assuming that people who quit being shinobi leave the village as well.

And it's probably illegal to do such things anyway so trying to spread their know-how (at least without permission) could result in them being hunted down and executed, which would be something of a deterrent.

Tsunade just up and left without any of those restrictive precautions being made, but I suppose she would be an exception and not the rule.

I agree that, if a shinobi quits, and there's reason to be worried about what they could reveal, there would probably be juinjutsu to keep them quiet. Also, if a shinobi quit but then started 'freelancing', they'd probably be marked as a missing-nin once that knowledge gets back to their home village.

Who's to say there wasn't restrictions on Tsunade ? Sure, she may have been able to travel freely and go anywhere she wanted, but the second she starts selling village secrets, who's to say the leaf village wouldn't have just had her executed aswell ? They clearly weren't squimish with executing anyone from the founding clans, as evidenced with the Uchiha, even if that was under different circumstances...

She may have left the village, but she didn't defect, or experiment on Konoha citizens like Orochimaru. It's highly unlikely that they would have wasted the time or manpower needed to execute her.

How many people would it have taken to subdue her? (assuming that they don't know about her fear of blood.)

True, she didn't defect, and didn't sell any secrets, but if it did go that way, she was a highly ranked ninja and undoubtedly knew some serious village secrets. Sure, executing her would probably take alot of manpower, but if they didn't stop secrets getting out, that would weaken them aswell. Also, they can just send Jiraiya after her. Besides, this is a pointless topic, seeing as she done none of those things

I don't think Konoha would have needed or used a large team for Tsunade. Look at what they sent after other S ranked ninja. They only sent a team or two. A good team with a great plan could likely get the job done.

    New chapter Up on MangaStream.

Pretty good chapter all round. Oh yeah. After such a Long time, A chapter I can enjoy.

The interaction between the Second and Naruto was pretty funny tbh. I enjoyed it.

That was exactly how I imagined it would be lol. I'm still hoping for Naruto and Hashirama interaction. :3

Also, not sure if it was intentional, but Block A in Tab B fit in page 1. LOL.

Here come even more female Kyuubi fics.

I find it really funny that Madara's obsession with Hashirama is as strong as Naruto's with Sasuke. Anyway, awesome chapter. Now just to wait until Minato give his part of Kyuubi to Naruto. And where the hell is Sandaime?

This was a fairly cool chapter. Funnily, both Minato and Naruto's 'signature' techniques (Hiraishin & Kage Bunshin) were invented by Tobirama. He definitely was the greatest 'genius' type of character in the series.

Also, did I understand right that Hashirama's chakra is about as strong as the combined chakra of Naruto, Minato, Yin-Kurama, and Yang-Kurama? Because if so, lol, that's some hax chakra.

Finally, it was pretty cool to see Sasuke following Naruto's lead for once.

I lol'ed when Naruto talked about how much second knew about Shadow clone. Never mind that he was the one who invented it. HAHAHAHa.

That line about the Kyuubi's combined chakra volume being similar to Hashirama...I hope that's just a mistranslation. There is NO WAY a human can be that powerful.....unless constant exposure to and the use of Sage Chakra expands ones reserves dramatically?

Dammit. Why does Kishi keep doing this to me?

It's obvious Kishi covers his eyes with one hand and picks out a bunch of " lol ideas " out of his Uchiha bedazzled hat once a week...

Hmm, I think he's saying that Naruto's chakra is comparable to his own by being able to distribute it among that many people. Considering how Tobirama compared what Naruto's doing with the shadow clone technique, another way of putting could be that Hashirama's noticed that Naruto's capable of making as many clones as himself.

Then he saw that the Kyuubi's chakra was being added to it as well.

The aesthetic difference between Yin and Yang chakra is presented well in this chapter, where you see the two types merging when Minato and Naruto bump fists. Minato in Kyuubi Chakra Mode must be a beast at genjutsu. I wonder how his chakra would affect a Sharingan user, since we know that Naruto's strong Yang chakra has a powerful effect on Mokuton users and techniques.
