I mean, sure, Kisho's pulled out side wild shit before and it's sort of made sense- or, at the very least, it's something that writers can tweak to make somewhat resonable. But this?

Hey, I liked this chapter.

 

Kishimoto has officially mastered the Tite Kubo art of Trolling no Jutsu.

 

I have to admit this really disappointing. I'm actually surprised by it. I shouldn't be, but I am.

I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this. Why, Kishimoto, why couldn't you have just made the Juubi an unspeakable horror, and be done with it? Why the stupid and overused God Tree concept?

 

Kishi is just doing what he's always done; drawing from the Bible. I actually didn't have a problem with this chapter. It answered a question that had been bugging me about the Kaguya.

 

Didn't bother me either, even if it was cliched. Mainly I'm just confused as to how "Hagoromo" taught other people to use chakra when he was special because he was born with it.

How's that?

 

Mm... last chapter was just... I dunno, stupid or something. How the fuck the energy that body and mind produce can originate from the some god tree? What about Natural energy? And why all people in the world can become ninja with training if only descendants of Sage of Six Paths should be able to use chakra?

The Sage probably used Creation of All Things to give chakra to everyone else.

At least it now makes sense why Mokuton is such a powerful element, whereas other combined elements like Hyouton, Ranton, etc. aren't nearly as hax. Mokuton is derived from the God Tree. And the Sharingan is derived from the God Tree's eye. Despite the obvious Biblical references, this backstory does explain a few things.

Also interesting is the connection of two clans to the names of the Sage and his mother. Ōtsutsuki was their surname, but their given names were Kaguya and Hagoromo, which we know are the names of two later clans. Maybe they're also descended from the Sage, but they could have also just named their clans in honour of those two, I guess.

 

But chakra is a combination of two types of energies.

 

I still don't see how that would prevent the Sage from giving people chakra with Creation of All Things. He could make his imagination into reality. There's not much you couldn't accomplish with a power like that. And that's exactly why Kaguya ate that fruit in the first place.

 

I've always felt that their Dead Bone Pulse was a much more "physical" ability than anything the Uzumaki or Senju displayed. And if the Sage was the man that brought ninjutsu to the world, but his two son's branched off into the Uchiha and Senju, that would mean the Kaguya were a) Either descendant of the Second Son, because of their physical abilities (Unlikely, because they are even more potent Yang users) or b) they are descended from some person outside of the Second Son, with even more powerful Yang chakras than him.

Maybe Hagoromo wasn't her only child?

 

Well, we know that there are some descendants of Sage who aren't Uchiha or Senju or Uzumaki. Kinkaku and Ginkaku brothers for example.

It's only a suspicion on A's part. We know some people make better or worse Jinchuurikis and having the Sage in your family tree certainly helps. Did previous 8-Tail hosts die and so release the best? If they died first then I reckon the Kinkaku Brothers are about as likely to have been descended from the Sage, distantly, as B is.

 

The thing is... without chakra(spiritual and physical energies) humans couldn't live. So how there were any humans before Sage gave them chakra? Or before Kaguya got it from god fruit?

 

I'd say creating Chakra for like and creating surplus Chakra to blow on fancy tricks are two very different things. Is Chakra being necessary for life even canon? It sounds fanon-y but I really can't be sure!
