Eh, if font were scum, she would've known Proph would come out with a JOAT, correct?

Of course, now we need to look at Lungs, and probably I'll be under a lot of scrutiny. I think the Lungs soft lynch is safe for now.

 

I think the likely conclusion is that we have all of our power roles outed, font and I are town, and Eido put two JoaTs in to combat modgaming.

Her behavior checks out with the vig call, too.

I'd like to go through the thread and reread with Fishy Justice = confirmed town in my mind.

I'm a bit too tired for a fullblown analysis, but this was the thing that didn't mesh on first glance.

This makes me more suspicious of Sesc, too.

Both Lungs and Lexicat question Font's towniness, but Font's plan would get her immediately lynched once Proph turned up JOAT. At the same time, Lexicat is basically the reason Lungs almost/is probably about to got/get lynched, and she also encourages Font to kill Lungs. So I think if we lynch Lungs and he turns up scum, Lexi will be a firm town.

Hm, maybe a JOAT on both sides? If we propose something for Font to do and she does it, that'll probably put the case against her to rest.

I'd say we still have a doctor. I doubt Eidolonic would use Mr. Universe before using Simon, so yeah.

 

Eidolonic might have given him as a safe fake-claim to scum.

If I were scum trying to have a fakeclaim in Simon/Doctor, I'd probably just get scum to not kill a specific person that is an obvious target and then say that I protected that person when I did claim. Eh, just a bunch of circular reasoning that isn't getting us anywhere. It was mostly in response to Proph's comment of all power roles outed.

 

There are zero (non-retarded) scenarios where font is scum. It'd be a 1:1 trade even before the desperado.

And assuming roles based on flavor is the worst kind of modgaming. Also dead Wrong.

 

Just a passing thought really. Every tool available and all that, yeah?

More importantly, we should probably give some input on what Font/Proph should do. They're both more experienced than me, so I'm sure they could come up with a better use. I'd say that one of them is most likely to die by scum's hands, but I'm not too sure about that.

And also the Caesar situation. No posts in three days is pretty bad.

Lungs questioning if Font is town really bothers me, and he has only seemed scummy so far.

Right. So let's assume Prophyl had gotten lynched today instead of having the desperado happen.

The next day you would lynch Fonts? Or would you apply this god awful WIFOM logic to save him?

Because the whole "it's a 1 for 1 trade" logic only applies if, you know, you ACTUALLY KILL HIM.

 

If he didn't use anything I'd give him a chance to talk, see what others let slip then most likely lynch him anyway. I assume this would be the majority of players (including you) response.

If you have some brilliant scenario where this is a scum!cc throw a vote down and educate us.

 

I'm good for a lynch on Lungs. He hasn't been my highest choice for lynching today, but given that my best case for scum has just been proven town, I'm more than willing to switch over to Lungs.

The problem I see now though is how we're going to keep Proph and Font alive long enough for them to use their one-shots. They can't use their doctor abilities on each other thanks to Proph's being a Jailer; Font would be roleblocked for the night, leaving Proph open.

So if there's a third doctor in the house, you should be able to work out what to do and why. Font/Proph as well.

Moving on, I'm going to go back over my reads with this new info in mind. That'll be what, the third time on day one? I think I'm enjoying this game.
