I liked this chapter. The DNA sword implies that the Sage used it to give chakra to everyone. Possibly used it to create the various kekkei genkai, too.

It was cool to see Obito's original dream of becoming Hokage.

I'm guessing the DNA sword broke when it hit Naruto/Sasuke's blade, because the will of the Sage didn't agree with Obito's own intentions.

And now hopefully Madara will step up with his trump card.

 

Ι gotta say, I loved the panels of the previous generation.

 

I feel like the Susanoo Armor Jacket could have been better. I don't dislike it...but it's not as good as it could have been.

DNA Sword was stupid though.

I did like the Hokage!Obito vion/fantasy thing though, too. Makes you wonder what kind of trouble would be going on in that timeline.

 

Kakashi seems to gained a greater connection with Obito. I wonder where Kishimoto is going with this? Am I the only one who thought that Susanoo 9 tails vs soul sword was kind of weak?

 

Soul Bond. Obviously.

 

This seems to be a norm within the Uchiha. Madara/Hashirama, Sasuke/Naruto Obito/Kakashi. What Hashirama should have said was "When an Uchiha looses his gay lover he loses his mind and unlocks the ultimate jutsu". Sasuke: What Hashirama: Mpreg.

 

Naruto has unlocked the secrets of changing energy to matter.

That entire fucking scene was ripped straight off of Tengen Toppen Gurren Lagann: Lagann-hen.

Eh, despite the silly pulling, I like the recent Naruto-Obito interactions. Especially Obito's wondering of what might have been, and seeing an alternate version of himself in Naruto's place.

Really, it could have gone much worse. I can even say that I enjoyed those parts.

 

So....the ending of the Fourth Great Shinobi War is determined by a game of tug o war? For some reason I'm not surprised.

IMO, Kishimoto has lost all credibility as a proficient storyteller, but he still is making millions so who am I to talk?

 

Friendship is Chakra?

 

Perhaps Madara's death will be less overtly sentimental. Not getting my hopes up though.

 

Obito is dead? Nowai, characters never die mid flash back. Maybe next chapter :/

Yeah, Obito was rolling in the innocence up until that.

 

Well, it much better than the other times Naruto talked his way out of stuff. I can even say I enjoyed it a bit. I definitely think it's not a good way to get rid of the main villain, but then again Obito had not grounds as a decent villain in the first place.
I don't think it's going to be resolved so easily though. Or I hope, at least.
