Oh god. Platinum is true elohell. ADC that can't cs for shit, support who never buys wards, mid who never calls MIAs. And let's not forget the 3 afk's in the last 3 games, all flavored with rage all over the place.

The best must have been the jungler who got outsmited by Janna's Q, however.

Jesus.

 

To be fair, that Janna Q totally happened in the LCS too. It must be a staple of high level play that you just aren't ready for.

Today was a better day, I suppose. Won a Jinx game, in which I had little contribution aside from the occasional kill. Top and mid snowballed.
Next corki game was a good fight. Somewhat back and forth, but we were more often than not winning the fights, due to a disastrous enemy invade that landed us 2-0. Our blitz would call gg and try to surrender every time someone died, but other than that, it was smooth sailing.
Third and last game for today was corki again. Lanes were going ok. I was winning my lane because I had a Ziggs support who ruined enemy Caitlyn's day, even though he never warded and enemy trundle jungle picked him off twice.
At 15 minutes enemy Ahri quits/disconnects. I hate 4v5s, even when it's the enemy with the 4 people. We probably would have won, but still. There is no joy to be had in a 4v5 victory.

 

Just hit Gold 2. I don't think I've lost a ranked game since about 50 lp in gold 5. I'm on something of a hot streak.

Blew two series and then dropped down to ~48 LP from playing drunk and mostly dicking around.

 

I was on a pretty good run, going something like 10-2.

Then I pretty much reversed it. My recent rank record is like 2-10.

Meh.

 

It's almost like over time, you wind up with a 1:1 ratio...

 

Game 1 Lee Sin jungle: 9-2-11. Nonstop plays, tons of fun, team worked together.

Game 2 Lee Sin jungle. horrible. Kayle afks, then dcs over and over. Afks at turret, to be dive bombed by a zed. Finally comes back to feed even harder. Taric decides his adc isn't good enough, so he afk's after minute 10. Wound up 3 v 5 heavily fed. Still managed to make the game drag on through several lucky ace's. Almost won, lost eventually. Lost all the LP I'd gained for the day. Went back to nonranked and steamrolled.

 

Yeah, I'm more upset about my consistency.

 

Haven't touched ranked in 3 weeks through a mixture of nerves and accepting the season was over - then Riot extended it, so, had to play tonight or I'd get demoted on Halloween.

Not bad for my first time on Voli top, was shitting a brick when I saw it was Jax. Boots 4 vs my Doran's & 1 pot.

Ran 9/21/0 with standard full AD top, flat armor and MR's. He went 21/9/0 with 6% LS, not sure why.

Almost all credit goes to the Aatrox who pinged and blindly Q'd into the top river bush onto Nasus who we got FB on and set Jax a long way back.

Oh well, Gold III promo to play, now if memory serves they only last a week which is annoying as I'm now away for 10 days.

Edit; Just checked my last few games, consistently getting matched vs Gold I's and Plat V's so either Gold II and III are dead, or I may be looking at skipping to Gold II.
