Wow, thanks. I voted in Golden Joystick a while ago and had no idea about this. Free Civ V for me - it gave me a Steam key for Civ V Retail, worked no problems.

Private and group giveaways mostly. Puzzles generally have under 20 entries for instance.

I'm not in a ton of private groups actually. More private groups you're in, the more likely you'll win games but on the flip side to that, all private groups have ratio in some way. Either number of games won:number of games given or straight cv ratio.

 

Yeah, I think those are kind of silly. If you're gonna dpend the same as you win, why not just buy whatever you want for yourself?
