Typical Estrogen fueled romance story.

This will, undoubtably, be placed in the Trash Bin, but for the H/T enthusiasts, it's an okay read to pass the time.

On the upside, it lacks most of the cliches that plague the pairing, however, the attraction is too quick for it to be anything special.

 

Whilst I like Harry/Tonks, this really grated on me. Harry was pathetic: '"Sorry," he said looking down. He hated to fail in front of her.' and despite being some sort of sudden prodigy he is completely incapable of standing up for himself.

The characters are one dimensional and a blatant vehicle for the author's own little fantasies, again shown by the fact that for the first 6 chapters were simply the angsty 'oh I can't love you but can't stop myself' kind of crap with absolutely no plot.

 

I've read this fic some time ago and I liked it somewhat.
This may be because I seldom find a Romance/Humor Honks fic I don't like. I'd say this one is average.

I see what you mean, Amerision. That was...extremely fluffy. I suppose the one dimensionality can be explained by the shortness of the story, but the whole thing would have been far better as a one-shot. The grammar was, however, rather good. Transition was awkward though, so all in all, 2.5/5

 

I read this a long time ago, and it hasn't been updated since. I liked it okay, but not enough to follow (not that you can follow a stangant story). 2/5

 

It was too fluffy... And the characters seem very bland... Sides it was last updated in 2004.

I dunno. This is my favorite Honks fic ever written. This is perfect, IMO...Harry has a mix of the slight shyness that a 16 year old should have, and the slight domination of a man who is extremely turned on.

Still my favorite Honks fic ever. 5/5.

 

Doesn't say much for the quality of Honks overall, Yarrgh.

Romance for romance's sake, no decent plot to speak, repetitive 'build up' to each sex scene. I did like it when I first read it, though, but that was before I actually developed standards. 2/5 - Unrecommended, unless you're up for a bit of romance.

kind of pointless for this to be here the author hasnt posted since '04; very one dimensional characters, rushed, and apparantly abandoned- makes it hard to give a good review

 

Element: I know, but for some reason, I really liked it.

This was the fic that got me into Honks, and its been my favorite pairing ever since. I dunno what it is about it, but this fic is perfect in terms of romance and physical involvement. Harry is close to Canon!Harry, and the Honks comes off realistically, IMO.

 

Is this supposed to be a GOOD thing?

 

It was alright, nothing special, a good fic if you are bored and have nothing better to do.

... Same here. I did laugh when Remus caught Harry screwing Tonks though.
