Sisterhood of Karn? I am not ashamed to admit that I suffered a nerdgasm.

What a pleasant surprise. I heard rumors about it, but like with lost episodes, you never know which ones a true and which ones aren't.

But now I think there is a good chance for Eccleston's cameo in the Special or a minisode before the Anniversary ends. Because Moffat lies.

In six minutes, I forgave McGann for the entirety of his terrible movie.

Ha! I was just about to say how its a shame that despite Mcgan wanting to no one contacted him about the 50th anniversary, seems he was lying but I forgive him that was pretty good(kind of makes me wish we could have seen more of his adventures)

Which Doctor was it before his regeneration, and which one after (was John Hurt's Doctor after?)? And what is the Sisterhood of Khan?! Completely lost.

Well, excitement for Dr Who finally rematerialises inside me somehow. I wasn't expecting this episode to do it, but I guess I'm just eager to see someone other than Matt Smith, despite the fact that he was one of my favourites.

    McCoy (7th) -> McGann (8th)-> Hurt (8.5th)-> Eccleston (9th)

The Sisterhood of Karn were semi-antagonists in a particularly good episode arc of one of Tom Baker's seasons.

I liked the little shout-out to his radio drama companions, wonder if that makes 8 reg radio drama's cannon now? :D

Yes it does. Although I've never listened to any of the books, I hear there are some really great stories to be told. Hopefully the shut out is a hint that maybe we may get more of him, especially considering how positively the fans have reacted.

So if Mcgan lied does this mean everyone else who said they had nothing to do with the anniversary also lied? and we might get to see them.

I also just noticed that they intentionally avoided showing us eight's cool sonic screwdriver. Is it a licensing issue(where the design belongs to Big Finnish?) or do they just not want to sure that eight had a much cooler sonic than nine or is it ten now. Also it seems that Hurt's doctor is the longest or second longest(next to Hartnell) living regeneration, since in this episode he starts out young.

About a week before the Special and there are my few predictions based on trailers and simple guessing (spoilers in case I'm right):

    - The War Doctor will regenerate to 9th Doctor and we will get surprise cameo from Eccleston. That or similar scene to the one with young Hurt in minisode.

    - There will be few more cameos from actors playing past Doctors, but they may not play the Doctor. Including Peter Capaldi.

    - It's not Rose, but Time Vortex's personification using her appearance because of their connection from her time as Bad Wolf.

    - The War Doctor meeting with it will be the reason why he sought her in the first episode of the 2005 revival.

    - 10th Doctor is from his time just before his last adventure when he was Queen Elizabeth's husband.

Odd hearing that Time lords were scared of a single Dalek. I used to think the reason one Dalek was enough to take over earth was the fact that earth had inferior technology and weapons something I didn't expect the time lords to also have.

I don't think every Time Lord was as brilliant as The Doctor, The Master, or The Council of Time Lords. They are brilliant compared to other races, but in their own scale they are just "normal".

Not everyone gets a Battle TARDIS, I'd imagine.

The video also didn't have time lords - just regular Gallifreyan soldiers. I doubt they could regenerate.

A single Dalek is pretty dang intimidating on its own - remember the episode Dalek?

We've spent 50 years watching the Doctor take down whole armies by himself. Cybermen, Sontarans, Daleks and countless other species. We've seen all of their plots, plans and schemes foiled by just one man.

Is it really so surprising that a lone Dalek could be just as dangerous?
