Like I said earlier, they have been since the start of the season. It'll be interesting to see how they handle it, but...

God no. I trust them to do it okay, but I don't trust them that much.

The Felicity/Flash thing will just be a time-waster since he will only be in a few episodes then get his own show.

Now all we need is to learn that Summer Glau's character can kick ass and boom we have our Black canary(the blonde wig will make sense). Corporate partners by day and crime fighting partners bu night.

Honestly I didn't see the problem with Olliver hooking up with her and Felicity's reaction was a little too soap operaish.

Yeah, it's true - it kind of came out of nowhere. And if you think about it, when Felicity says "why her?" She's really saying, "why didn't you bang me"

To which Olliver should have replied: "yeah, I'm dumb"

Assuming the synopsis on this page is accurate, this is confirmed.

Also confirmed, apparently, is that the Flash pilot is going to be its own separate thing, so we might not actually get to see any actual Flash from Barry in Arrow. It'll be interesting to see that arc, to say the least.

EDIT: Also, this week's episode features the return of Count Vertigo and the Moira Queen trial. Sounds like it's going to be a good episode!

Well the mask looks better than the paint. I think it should have some extra use beyond hiding his identity though. I mean even if I didn't like the paint as much, it did hide his identity for this long, so there should be another reason for Ollie to use the mask over the paint. Maybe give it a night vision mode or something.

Actually I think this is better than using Talia. She and Ra's are fairly tied into the Batman mythos, and like I said before they should be wary of using too many Bat-villains. But using one of Ra's al Ghul's lesser known daughters works for me. Actually has any other adaptation given him other daughters besides Talia?

A reason for the mask can be easily done.

Ollie is trying to move from the Hood to the Arrow. One way to do that is make his Hood a less prominent part of his costume. So pull back the hood a bit and show his eyes, which is vital to how people trust one another, and you no longer have the Hood.

That or Diggle or somebody will point out how stupid it is to rely on a hood and eye paint to hide the fact that that two of the city's most famous residents are the same person.

Or we could step back and realize we're critiquing a superhero...at some point you just have draw a wider area to suspend your disbelief.

Plus they never fill any really obvious holes until they become plot points. Which if done well is super satisfying.

That being said, a mask with night vision and what not would be freaking awesome.

I mean, let's be honest. None of the super hero disguises are any good. You think Christian bale's deep voice was really fooling anyone?

IMO, the paint is cooler than the mask. The mask just looks dumb.

Shit, maybe Tommy's alive too. Malcolm did love his son, after all.

Hmm. So did Merlyn just fake his death with ninja tricks, or might we see a Lazarus Pit at some point? I thought Merlyn was a great villain so I'm not opposed to seeing him return, as long as they've got something good saved up for him.

A little disappointed with Count Vertigo's end. Well, moreso that Ollie had to kill him than with him being dead. Assuming he's dead for real anyway. They have used him three times already, so bringing him back again might be stretching it a bit. Anyone else get some Nolan-Joker vibes from him with the whole "camcorder torture on the news" thing and him trying to get Ollie to kill him?
