Are there any good fics where Harry's a metamorphmagus?

It's an old and, in my experience, not particularly well executed idea but I've got a bit of alcohol induced nostalgia going on. Help me out DLP.

 

Nope, because every story where he is one it's an extraneous detail that adds nothing to the story, and is shoehorned in just to make Harry 'stronger'.

 

Or to pair him with Tonks. All in all in mostlly part of the indy!Harry checklist right after magical core blocks but before the Occlumency shields.

Then again, Harry/Tonks can be done without Harry being a metamorph, so yeah.

A less related example is Alexandra Potter by Taure. It has a Fem!Harry with metamorph abilities.

Actually, there is one good one that springs to mind, but I only remember a few details about it. Harry is a metamorph, but something repressed his ability until Tonks noticed the signs and told him about it. Not a Harry/Tonks fic, no 'magic blocks' to be seen, and the one bit that sticks out is a small bit of the battle for Hogwarts where Harry is running around disguised as Draco cursing Death Eaters. He saves Tonks from something then turns his eyes back to green to let her know who he is.

That's about all I can remember from it. Pretty sure it was a oneshot. Anyone know what I'm on about? I'd kinda like to read it again now.

 

I had an idea for a story which revolves around Harry defeating Voldemort as quickly as possible before he goes to Hogwarts. He would have, seemingly/effectively, and in whatever way, have travelled back in time from when he was much older. He would try to accomplish this in a matter of days, and certainly before he starts his first year.

It's likely that it has been done before. Does anyone know stories that are of a similar nature? The main theme is that of being against the clock (even if it is artificially created) with the goal of defeating Voldemort while possessing knowledge of the future (which may be all seven years of Hogwarts and more, or slightly less).

 

Strangely specific there, wot?

 

I think Catharsis does something similar too. Harry goes back in time for his third year I think and starts to "fix" everything that led to his son becoming the next dark lord.

 

Moshpit did something with that exact premise.

Say, there have been many fics with characters having the opposite gender. Fem Harry, Fem Ron etc.

But is there a fic with the Weasley Twins being female? I wonder.

 

That one by DarthMarrs has one of the Weasley Twins being a girl. I can't remember what it was called off the top of my head.

 

There was a good Harry/Female Tom Riddle fanfic around here somewhere? Anyone remember what it was called?

All I can remember is a teenaged Riddle revived from the Chamber of Secrets and was horrified by how crazy she went.

I've had a sudden interest in fourth year fics. What's out there that I may not have seen?

 

I was talking to one of my friends about a unique story I read but I couldn't find it. I would be grateful if one of you can point it to me.

The story starts just after the ministry battle (Harry, Luna, Susan) where Luna and Susan die. Harry is kind of dark lord having an inner circle (all females). Of course, no one else knows about it. Su Li is his public girlfriend.

Lisa Turpin was his previous public girlfriend but she withdrew from Hogwarts before the story starts since she didn't want to be part of Harry's group anymore (which harry agreed to). But Harry gets to know that she is going to talk with Rita Skeeter and he kills her under the guise of Death Eater attack.

Other stuff which I remember:
1. Hannah Abbot tortures Pansy Parkinson
2. Chamber of secrets is where they meet.
3. Hermione and Ron are still his public friends.
4. Romilda Vane antagonizing Su Li.

This story is unique because it doesn't have even a single lemon even though it looked like it belongs in that category. Also the characters and interactions are quite good if I remember.

 

Sounds bloody horrible, to be honest. Can't say I've read it.

Harry Potter Alternate Universe/Time Travel Fic Search

I have been searching for this fic for a while, a couple of years in fact, but have not been able to come across it again. It involves Harry traveling to another universe and meeting up with his female opposite. Ollivander also gives Harry a wand he calls the wand of time or the time stick. I don't remember much else except that it is a bit smutty and more than anything else is a guilty pleasure fic.

Are there any fic that does some more worldbuilding for the canon international community? Tried Make a Wish but really couldn't get past the first few chapters. Is there anything else?
