I read through the first one and I'm pretty excited.

I was pretty sad you got rid of the roles, though; it added a pretty cool dimension to the game.

 

I would have enjoyed the roles a lot more we had been able to reveal them. It would have given me an extra bargaining chip to make up for the fact that I couldn't get a hidden immunity idol (I was the Renegade) and would have added another level of intrigue to the game, IMO.

 

Fair, fair, though I can see how they added complexity to the game.

(I hope I don't eliminated swiftly due to my stubborn mafia playstyle )

 

Here's a tip: Learn from the Gryffindors, not the Slytherins.

Castaways, thank you for expressing interest in SURVIVOR: DLP. It really is a new brand of game, different to and more involving than mafia. Be warned that by signing up, you have agreed to and will be expected to participate in Challenges (unless seeming weaker than you actually are is a strategy to being underestimated). Do not be surprised if during Tribal Council, I ask you questions which prompt your fellow castaways to note your inactivity in Challenges and thus perhaps contemplate eliminating you.

The weak person dragging the team behind, after all, needs to be jettisoned! Only one winner exists, and that's the Sole Survivor!

Other than that, be prepared for a game which incorporates both social and strategic aspects. Outwit, outplay, and outlast your fellow contestants through wit, guile, and sheer out-manoeuvring.

Now, everybody has been their Houses, to be led by Riley and Anya. You will soon receive a link to your QT, informing you of your House, in 24 Hours from now. However, I would like everybody whose name appears on the following list of players to confirm that they are playing by posting in this thread.

Since a lot have waited a great deal of time for this game to start, I've created a little something for you guys to chew on while you wait for the game to begin and a token of my appreciation.

Some players are depicted as girls, simply because the real game of Survivor has pretty even gender ratios and I felt obliged to pay tribute. I literally flipped a coin to decide who will be a girl in the video and who won't. Also, the contents of the video do not indicate in anyway the roles of the players.
