Eh. This game was not played by Lemondogs, in essence. These were not the players that smashed the EU LCS. In fact, I find it pretty unfair that they allowed this LD to go to Battle of The Atlantic, considering everything.

But it still counts as a European victory, considering Bjergsen XD

Alright, I had no idea that the team was different. I was merely trying to counter Eldee's points; not start a EU vs NA war.

Yup. Lemondogs' former roster all jumped ship after Worlds. Their current roster was pulled from solo queue or from teams like aAa and Millennium who haven't really done anything since Season 1. The only reason they're playing in the LCS is because the Lemondogs organisation already had a spot secured. If they had to qualify through the promotion tournament, there's almost no chance they would've qualified on their own.

I wouldn't be shocked to see them dropped and the roster of another amateur team take their place. But then, there's not too many people available.

Hey, maybe they can recruit some NA players? There's got to be a lot of them looking for work now that EU players have taken all their jobs.

How would getting an NA player be considered an improvement?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see LD take up the Supa Hot Crew team that lost to SK yesterday. They're almost certainly the best non-LCS team and definitely better than their current roster.

Well if the NiP - KMT series carries on the way it's going, LD can pick up three of their old players again.

NiP/LD deserved to get shafted for all the shit they pulled with roster changes and buying better players from different teams only to crash and burn.

Svenskeren, Kev1n and Bjergsen must be feeling pretty content right about now with all of them finding their way into the LCS whilst NiP/LD's original roster bomb out.

Can see LD picking up SHC's team as they looked great together, now to see how it all goes over in NA, with ATN vs CLG being my match to watch for the BotA, 'potential' vs a team that let it all slip away as the Summer split went on.

Edit; Forgot about Neogodbro and TheTess from the original CW roster that NiP bought, too tired it would seem.

They actively encouraged the European invasion by recruiting their players.

They managed to fend off the Korean invasion thanks to Quantic's shitty internet.

How will North America deal with the Chinese invasion? Royal Club's B team are moving over to try and qualify for the NA challenger league.

I hope they repace Dignitas this season. That team is just a bunch of Has beens, really. Even though I like Scarra.

Plus, I actually hope the various 'invasions' improve the NA scene. Some new talent not focused on become a celebrity/personality might inject some professional sportsmanship into the NA teams.

Gambit were trolling their tits off in both games and still managed a clean sweep. Maximum disrespect achieved.

Those were some of the funniest pro games I've ever seen, just shows how good Gambit are that they can stomp like that while trolling. It looked like they were playing against a bunch of Gold players.

    Last Hope, C9 vs Fnatic.

Of course, if C9 makes the massive mistake of letting Kassadin through, I'll just throw my hands up in despair and start rooting for EU instead.

    What's the score now? 3-1 or 4-1?

4-2, since it's a points system. The last match is worth 3 points.

If C9 wins, it'll be a 5-4 win for NA. if Fnatic wins, It'll be a 7-2 win for EU.

I'm starting to agree with Doublelift though. AD Carries are largely becoming irrelevant. It seems that OGN AD carries are the only ones doing well.

In that first game, Lucian had 3 items and did nothing at all to Shyvanna with 3 items and Tabis. Hell, I'll bet he got outdamaged by Shyvanna who went Randuins, Sunfire, Visage.

    Any thoughts?

Great play by Gambit though, and that Amumu support is definitely the most meta. With such an easy laning phase due to lane switches it makes sense that they'll go for that mid/late game team comp.
