:facepalm I keep meaning to do this, plus read your other fic (I was too depressed after reading NSB to jump right in).

I'll get around to it soon Rep.

Sure. Here or on ffnet, whatever you prefer. I don't know your nick on ffnet to tell whether you've followed or anything like that, but I'll know you if you review.

Second chapter is titled "Amazon". Well, it was good while it lasted.

I enjoyed The Last. The yearly format kept things brisk even if there were times I'd like to have seen the things going on between scenes or were only given brief mentions. And after Clark stepped out of the limelight, I found the scenes focused on Gotham fairly tedious; Batman's tale just doesn't interest me much.

Edit: Are there any good fics that follow on from Man of Steel in the same way Legend follows on from The Dark Knight?

I came across a pretty interesting fic today called 'Kokuten' Where Sasuke ends up in the past during the Uchiha coup and alters history. I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of other similar fics primarily Naruto, Sakura, or Sakura centic that take place at that time frame? Preferably without Slash.
    Thanks

Ignores Agents of Shield. Phil Coulson created a Captain America forum and members are really worried when he hasn't posted in a while.

MCU, Captain America in particular, is my go-to current fandom. I don't have access to a computer for the next two days (hooray phone), but I'm gonna scour for what I have saved.

I just read Find You in the Morning Sun and thought it was pretty good. Nothing special, but interesting enough. I'll have to check out the others you posted too, Alraune.

Cracked (or anyone really), I'd definitely like to hear about any good MCU (Cap especially) fics you've read once you get access to a computer. I generally have trouble finding any good ones amongst the mountains of terrible slash fics.

Cap's my favorite and the gen and F/M filter on archive of our own makes things so much easier to get through the slash.

You might like this too Fatality.

I've tried using that filter, but then I just get stories that have F/M pairings in addition to the main attraction of Steve and Tony falling desperately in love. That's why I generally don't use AO3 so much - do you you know if there is an option to actually filter out M/M?

Thanks for the rec though, I'll definitely check it out.

Not that I know of. I usually just tag it gen and/or F/M and Steve/Female Character (usually Peggy) to get rid of a majority of slash. Some still get through the cracks but not a lot. It's been working pretty well for me.

This is really darn good. There's some weird stuff (author uses parentheses a lot - though it kind of works) but the voice is perfect. Really solid writing. I'm surprised not a single person has left a review.

To be fair A3 is much smaller than Ff.net and the kick-ass section is pretty nonexistent.

I could be wrong about this, but you should be able to filter out the (tagged) slash on AO3 by adding -M/M to your search.

I tried and it didn't work.

Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

It should in theory, but it isn't so in practice. Mainly because there are those that refuse to mark it as M/M and just go with the Multi or even Gen.

A self-insert fic which I usually don't read, but this one has a good twists to it. Happens in NGE universe.
