I wouldn't call it shitty, but it certainly isn't very good :p

Eh, it's a combination of a few things - selling cards early when prices spiked pre-sale means I'm about halfway there and at about break even; also, as loathe as I am to admit it, my OCD weakness for CCGs, TCGs, and other collectible combined with completionist tendencies is on full display here; I managed to have a small stockpile right at the beginning and was able to sell some drops from holiday stuff when prices were high. The level 40 badge is a frigging shark, and the little dude in snow globe is better imo; also, prices are down to $.15 each, and I'm halfway there already, so that cuts down the cost significantly.

General rule - don't craft any badges for other games until right before the summer or winter sales are winding up and cards are released but the general sale is not ready yet- if you time it right and if you get foil drops, you can make a killing when they are selling for $5-8 each before most people can get them from voting.

This is a great rule, the only thing I'd add is to make an exception if you're close to hitting a multiple of 10 on your steam level. The additional 20% chance of a booster pack makes it worth it imo.

If like me you bought Max Payne 3 ... can you play it? My frustration with Rockstar has left me nothing too do, which in turn led me back to this forum (I let DLP slip away for a few years).
Apparently Max Payne 3 issues are rampant (key server errors) so be wary of buying for now.

    Wait, wasn't that $12?

FEdit: Or did it get a different price in a flash sale than during the community choice thing?

Probably not going to get lower for a while. 2K is usually stingy with their DLC so who knows when the next 75% off sale will come.

    Well balls...

I wish I had seen that in time, because I've been waiting to snap up Burial at Sea.

I was tempted to get Arkham Origins at $25, then saw that it had been $19.99 during the fall sale and it kind of soured me on the idea. I think I'm one of the only people who plans ahead for buyer's remorse.

If I were any more uptight, I'd be a black hole.

Well, I just sold everything in my inventory that can go on the market. I got about $5 even when selling the foils. Now I'm trying to decide if I should get Brave New World DLC for $5 or not. (normally $30 and was 'just' released)

    New HB!

To The Moon, Joe Danger 2, Papo&Yo, Bit Trip Runner 2

    BTA: Reus, Surgeon Simulator 2

If you were one of the lucky ones who bought within the first 2 minutes* (that's how long 1000 copies lasted), $10 tier included Starbound.

Game4u (an Indian game site) has some games for sale.

Tomb Raider Survival Edition: 399 Rs($6.40) I thing this is a steam key since the game is Steamworks

The new DMC and Metro: LL for 699Rs.

Here are the other deals. Most are physical stuff. You probably need to use a VPN though for buying outside from India.

It's actually 80-90 seconds. Not even the full 2 minutes.

I was ready to buy the stuff and reloading the page. I saw starbound and thought meh.

It went past 90 seconds. My friend had his go through with Starbound at the 1 minute 31 second mark.

Enclave is fucking beautiful, especially for a game that came out 11 years ago.

I'm not a huge fan myself, especially since EA is a legitimately asshole company, but in the interest of full disclosure...

So, not sure if anyone cares since it's the EA (those greedy bastards) but they're offering a *slight* discount on Bioware points if anyone is interested. $25 on Amazon after EC coupon for 2480 Bioware Points and Mass Effect 2, which comes out to a 16% discount on the points. Bioware points have only gone on sale once before.

Bioware points can be used on anything, not just ME2 DLC as noted on the product page. As a note, ME3 DLC comes out to be 4000 points if you want all of it.
