How about you explain why this is a terrible question to ask?

    Vote Sloth

I've probably played at least 7ish games. Sloth, I know you're new, but that was pretty bad.

This will be my second game of online mafia. Also, Bill Door, is your vote an "explain this" vote, or an "I think you're scum" vote?

It's a vote vote, answering that question would be pretty counter productive before seeing his response.

Yo, I'm here. I've played a lot of mafia games and hosted a few myself. Separating this game from Survivor is going to be hard, haha, especially if I accidentally confuse the dynamics between the two.

I wish this game had Lump or Mayor or something Day 1 specific so we have more material to work with. #funtimes #day1lynches #firstworldproblems

Aekiel is asking questions again. Reminds me a little of Moridin's playstyle in that last game.

Bill, why are you acting so trigger-happy towards Sloth? Granted, Sloth isn't acting like a bona fide tonwie, but that vote is a little presumptuous and rash, don't you think?

My response to that is the same as my response to Dermon.

Aren't we entering the stage of voting for reactions anyways? He wants a response.

    Vote: Zeitgeist

Simple: From my point of view, it's not terrible at all.
This is my first ever game, whereas most people here have played at least once before with each other. You have more of a feel for how the other plays than I do and none of us can simply stand back and wait for a more obvious clue to show up.
So if you tell me who you want to be a Town, it tells me who is the biggest threat.

So far I know I have to keep an eye on Bill Door, Aekiel and Dermon,
That Bill Door jumps to conclusions (maybe only when it comes to new blood?) and is perhaps defensive,
Ruckyree is testing the waters while being diplomatic, coming out looking fairly amiable to both parties,
Zeitgeist is the same, but tries to cast doubt (legitimately? We'll see),
Don't have anything on Citrus beyond perhaps poor impulse control.

Next question: Is Bill usually known for defensive play and quick voting?
I wasn't sure we could ask about play styles and old games, but everyone else seems to be talking about it.

    Lynch Vote: Zeelthior

and I thought I'd been quiet.

Zennith: which Red do you think would be the most dangerous when only one of them is left, and why?

I'm back. Helped my brother and his girlfriend move into a new place today so I haven't had much chance to check the thread.

Dermon: What do you think of the Zeit/Bill Door byplay in posts 25-28?
    Luckylee: Ask someone a question.
Ollie: You don't get to lurk. Who's your top scumread so far?

From my point of view you are asking who it would be best for the scum to kill.

I suppose it , yeah, but enough for you to instantly jump on the vote almost two days before the lynch?
Keep in mind that empirically you just used your vote on a 50/50 chance with no one pressuring you into doing so. You could make an argument for you not wanting to waste your time 'investigating' when you know who it is that stands opposite against you.

About this post--sorry, I edited it. I just added my question and fixed a typo. I explained this to Riley and was told to just let you know.
It's a force of habit, but I won't do it again.

You do realise that people are allowed to change votes. If i decide later that you aren't the best person for me to have my vote on I will change it.

I actually did not. Votes aren't final? That seems like it'd make the game less dire/fun.

    Answering Bill's question,

Harry needs to be careful because mafia can trick him with some of their powers so he may need to double check particularly suspicious people and keep track of their posts and voting.

With Elaine, she has the best power because if she has enough info she could prevent mafia from eliminating anyone. Town can help her with questions and discussions. If she isn't sure she can focus and pick up a tarot card.

As for Sloth's question, probably people from the Survivor game but that's more nostalgia based. People haven't done analysis yet but probably whoever is able to have a coherent and logical argument.

    Questions:
    1. Does Vote for Reaction work as a strategy, for example?

    2. In your orange and black jumpsuit, you find something in a slit in the side. What is it?

You can change your vote as many times as you want until the day ends.

    I certainly think it does

Just saying, from past experience this seems like a scum-tell.

As to the question asked a while back about how many games: I believe right around 3-4 before this. I'd forgotten the excitement playing brings out until I was a part of Survivor: Redemption.

On a general note to the game, my schedule is a lot more restricted at this point than it was back in December during my last game. Tonight alone I've got things full potentially up to midnight from about fifteen minutes onward. I'm getting stuff done online while the opportunity is available, so please don't mistake my absence for lurking.

That's actually pretty interesting. I've always liked the sound of it, and I think it works out better than Azekiel.

Activity seems pretty slow in here even by usual mafia standards. Since it seems we're in a bit of Q&A session, I'll sling this one out for everyone: Favorite snack food?
