What do I make of all this? I'm very disappointed in the lack of activity that has meandered its way into D2. We're nearing the half-way point in the Day and we've gotten barely anything done.

The Titus replacement is someone that also plays on my home site - and I see she's using the vote tags from my home site too heh.

I agree with Zeitgeist on Zircon's grand whammy of a second post. I also really didn't like one of the lines specifically, mentioning not to rely on the "viewing" player at the bottom (that was me that brought it up). Mentioning this means he has read through the thread, and yet the only things he's brought up are filler/D1 type material (mechanics, advice), which he literally could have brought up D1 but chose not to.

Why do you disagree with that strategy? Why do you think it's more likely if you disagree with it?

At the very least, please post what you think Sloth's alignment was and why, or what things people have said about it that ring true/false.

 

Citrus, I am not scumhunting the dead guy. Today's lynch will give us more information as to Sloth's. My focus is on the players we can solve. Interesting that you started at one of my other sites but we haven't played together.

Even the most basic meta should tell you I get pissed when ignored. So scum, what is your read on Aek?

 

Ignored? I saw your post after submitting, because this site doesn't warn a user when new posts have been made when you submit (which is a weird change for me).

Anyways, first off no one reacted to your vote because no one is around to react. To me it looked like a RVS-type vote as opposed to a vote because you think he is scum, especially as you just replaced in and posted that you started reading moments before, so it ended up getting ignored.

Second, there's a fairly good reason why it's useful to ask everyone what they think Sloth was. I'm perfectly willing to spell it out for you once more players have shown up and answered, but I find it interesting you disagree with doing so.

Third, my read on Aekiel as of right now is that he was fairly active yesterday and made a lot of questioning posts, with lots of filler near the beginning of the day, but not nearly as active today. He claimed he will have low activity today, which I usually allow to fly with players around once in a game - which is why I'm not too happy with Dermon's low activity today (gave a question, answered a question, vanished). Rucky mentioned that Aekiel always plays that way on D1 regardless of alignment (lots of questioning/D1 type material), so I was interested in seeing how he would post today (and then he said he won't be very active), especially as it may give something back on Rucky. As of right now, he's not currently very high up on my radar.

 

Yeah, there were about 3 or 4 people posting after my gut vote. None commented. It wasn't RVS at all. I was hoping to engage to see who would jump and see who would defend but avoidance is more telling.

I also see you trying to drag us back to D1.I won't do that. We are in day 2 and we can use what happens to determine Sloth's alignment.

No offense, but that doesn't make any sense to me. Please describe how you envision today's vote giving us more info on sloth.

 

Zennith, unless we assume the vug is dead, two mislynches on town give the vig a kill.

So if there is only one kill tonight, we can infer that either Sloth/lynch target was scum or the vig is dead.

Technically you're right, unless the scum use their auto-kill, that could throw a wrench in the works.

There are a lot of scenarios and no guarantees for what you're hoping for.

 

Can the Duchess kill and the regular scum kill be used in the same night?

Yeah, a lot can happen. I want to see how that plays out and scumhunt forward. The vig is the only confirmational tell in the game IMO.

 

Hello Titus, welcome to the game and I'm glad to see you're active.

The same players that wouldn't talk day one or barely posted are doing the same thing day two (Kalas, Zircon, Dermon). Several people have asked them to post more, I'll reiterate the request.

Then there are the players who were active on day one but have become really quiet (Aekiel, Zeitgeist).

I asked the mods and they said flavor does not hold clues but, "Tut tut, vigilance and paranoia serve you well here folks." I'll go with everyone is suspicious until proven innocent.

I tried to do a Vote for Reaction on Zircon but he did not respond although some other people did.

Okay, we really need to get a lynch going because at this rate, we won't get a lynch at all. Now, I have Citrus and Luckylee as an unaligned pair, indicating that lynching one of them is a positive step forward. Although Citrus hasn't exactly slipped off my radar, Luckylee has by far made worse posts than Citrus. I mean, they weren't Ollie-quality, but awful enough to make me twitch.

Plus I have Sloth and Luckylee as an unaligned pair, so hopefully killing Lucky will reveal some information. It's the best idea that I have at this point. Unless anybody has a better idea?

Eh. I didn't express anything in that post that I haven't expressed multiple times over. I'll stand by it. I didn't see your response to my answers to your questions. In fact, lately you've been asking a lot of questions of others with very little in the way of your thoughts regarding them.

 

Zennith or Ollie. The former has been making posts which disconcert me (such as that last one), but I'm unsure about his alignment at this point, which is why I'm going for the Luckylee Lynch in order to yield more information. For me, he's somebody that I'd lynch on Day 3 rather than Day 2. Ollie is lurking like Zeelthor, but more deliberately, I feel. That's either derpy or downright sinister.

After those two, I'd have to say you, Bill, are my next most suspicious. But we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

 

My thoughts are that you are scum and that passive aggressive comeback about me asking questions is such a hilariously scummy thing to do.
