I figure that title is the best way to describe him for the kind of stories I'm looking for. I'm looking for stories that have Harry alot like fanon-Sirius. Skillful with a wand, amusingly witty and a bit of a man-slut who visits broom cupboards regularly with several different girls to get laid.

Oh, and also like actual Canon-Sirius isn't all that fussed about setting up arsholes like Snape/Malfoy to get murdered.

Or hell, maybe even having Harry have gone back in time and figured that since his first life sucked so bad - I predicted Albus Severus to be gay with Scorpius, James Sirius to be an arrogant little fuckwit that dies due to drug overdose and Lily Luna a wrist cutting, emo whore. - he should live this new life to the fullest and decides to screw over everybody else by screwing around himself.

I know there's not much to go on here and I know that it's wrong to make assumptions regardless, but is anyone else getting the funny feeling that OP is straight and male?

 

Aside from the irrational hate against the canon HP children, are there any stories you can think of that fit OP's parameters?

As for stories:

• Parts of Gryffindors Never Die, despite its inconsistent tone.
• This pair of one-shots was intended to start Harry down such a path.
• Heather Sinclair's Gentleman Usher of the Scarlet Rod.
• I get the sense that The Santi would have had his Harry be more like Sirius than James. He was certainly closer to Sirius.

 

I'd add the caveat that, straight or gay, if your child is bottoming for a Malfoy, they need some sense knocked into them. It's Malfoy involvement that's the important part, not the orientation.

"Sons, you can flounce down Gay avenue, singing 'It's Rainin' Men,' while wearing a blue gingham dress, and carrying a sign that says, 'Remember Stonewall,' during a televised pride parade (just like 'uncle' Seamus and 'aunt' Dean), and I will support you. I'll tell you the dress is tacky, but whatever; that's just a different kind of support. However, if you catch for a Malfoy- if you even date a Malfoy... I'd say my story (read: all 4 of them) fits the bill, but I know you've read that. Unfortunately there are very few stories where Harry has more than one romantic relationship over the duration of the fic. Of course, the Psychic Serpent exists, so there's that. You're more likely to find Harry with the wit of Sirius or even a male bonding fic than to find a well-written multi-romance. They do exist, just sparingly.

Very few authors are willing to make Harry completely inconsiderate toward the females he fucks because you are in a way betraying his character -- Harry from canon would never just take Lavender to the broom closet the way Ron did because he always has Voldemort hanging over his head. Before fourth year he wasn't ready and after the Dark Lord's rebirth he became aware of his seemingly imminent death.

I don't actually hate them. I just thought that the epilogue was so sugary sweet I felt as if my teeth were decaying just from reading it.

Would Harry try to kill someone off indirectly, perhaps unintentionally, then while at Hogwarts?

 

I sure as hell hope so. I like a bit of sociopath in main characters. It gives them just enough to not be a pussy and actually kill the 'bad guys'.

 

Unintentionally? Already did it in HBP (Sectumsempra scene).
As for Sirius-like Harry, the only one I can think about is Harry/James from The Lies I've Lived.
