I'd try my hand at one of the existing challenges, but I don't think I could write it well.

 

I want a challenge but I prefer something more serious than say... Sirius and McGonagall. Not that I wouldn't want to read that, lol.

I originally intended for this to be a fluffy scene about Harry and Kara meeting in a coffee shop for the first time. Then this happened. Now that I've wrote this, how about someone writes a good Harry/Kara snippet?

I pulled her towards me, my hands settled lightly on her hips. Heat radiated through the thin material of her uniform. Her body was like a furnace. I slid my hands up her body, brushing her breasts, and untied her cape, letting the red material fall and pool around her bare feet. I tangled my fingers in her long, soft hair and kissed her lightly. I tasted cinnamon.

She rose up on her toes, deepening the kiss as her hands glided across my chest, pushing my jacket off of my shoulders. The kiss was nice, soft and intimate. I could feel my worries and body aches fading away. Work and department politics became a distant memory as she slid a hand beneath my shirt. Wherever she touched I felt an electric thrill.

I groaned when she broke the kiss so she could help me pull my shirt over my head. She tossed the shirt away and pushed me back onto the couch, observing me through languid eyes. Her pose was coquettish, one long, tanned leg forward, her back arched slightly. I felt a different kind of ache as I stared at her. The good kind of ache. Slowly, teasingly, she stripped her shirt off and my eyes dipped, devouring the sight of her naked breasts.

She straddled me and I settled a hand on the small of her back as she shifted her hips, grinding against me. I pushed her top up and she pulled it off the rest of the way, tossing it across the room, and resettled my hands on her thighs, feeling the strength there beneath my calloused fingertips. I slid my hands over her smooth skin and beneath her skirt, smiling when I realised that she wasn’t wearing anything underneath.

She gave me a naughty grin and lent in to kiss me again. I responded eagerly and felt her lips part slightly in invitation as my jeans became uncomfortably tight. She gasped slightly as I slid a finger between her legs. With my other hand I fumbled to undo my jeans. She leant back, her breathing heavy.
“Harry, the charm,” she said.

Her voice shattered the fragile illusion. The magic flowed away without Ginny realising it, her hair changing from blond to not-quite-orange red, her eyes turning brown and her breasts shrinking. I noticed the breasts first.

The physical glamour was easy to create, even without Ginny’s consent or knowledge, but voices were a trick that I hadn’t mastered yet. I was trying though. Without the glamour she was smaller and lighter and staring at her face I could feel my desire shrinking.

Before my vanishing desire could become embarrassing or raise awkward questions I concentrated – a task made easier by the sudden reversal of my blood flow – and triggered the alert on my auror bracelet. It flashed brightly from its place on the table and let out a piercing shriek. Offering me a disgruntled look Ginny stood before I could lift her off of my lap, her long skirt falling back to her ankles.

I crossed the room and tapped the bracelet, cancelling the alarm. Ginny was dressed and grabbing a handful of Floo Powder by the time I turned around.

“An auror’s work, huh?” she said with a smile. Ginny was always understanding about the frequent interruptions to our infrequent time together. She thought auror’s work made me happy.

I gave her a forced smile and kissed her lightly before she disappeared into the Floo and promptly stopped dressing. I tossed my wand back onto the table next to my auror bracelet and one of the muggle papers I get. This one had a front page story about Supergirl.

I toyed with the engagement ring that had been in my pocket for three months.

“Maybe I should reconsider proposing,” I mused.

 

So does this lead to a story where Harry stalks Supergirl before he gets slapped with a restraining order?

 

I'm not a Pop culture freak but I know big budget Marvel/DC, cartoons that aren't in another language and most television. Doesn't matter much to me, but I'm typically a HP man.

 

I give you the choice between Tony Stark/Hermione and Bellatrix/Snape.

Seems like a pretty good system that if you sign up you're open to challenge. But then whoever gives said challenge must accept one in return.

CM, I dont even want to reply to that. Go write generic Harry Hermione if it makes you feel better, but out of this thread. When you sign up here and declare a fandom, all characters are open.

 

To clarify, I'd gladly take challenges as long as they're in the Dresden Files or Harry Potter verse. The foremost being preferable by far.

If you do, you have carte blanche to challenge me in any combination of the fandoms I mentioned.

 

I'm still trying to figure out how to somewhat reasonably write a Sirius/McGonagall pairing. I'm not saying that all pairings should be vanilla, just that yours are stranger and more trollish than most.

 

Off the top of my head I have about six Sirius/McG scenarios. It doesnt have to be airtight. Just write something.

 

Dumbledore/Mab, eh? Challenged accepted. No idea how to pull that shit off, but I'll give it a try once I've slept and done fucktons of school crap tomorrow.
