It starts out adorable... and then it gets creepy... and then it gets adorable again... and then it's horrifying ... and then you just can't look away, because Indoctrinator wants to play bouncy ball.

 

You could use this first post and just scan through them all.

Best thing to do is probably copy the entire post into a text editor and highlight the links as you read them, that way you'll know what you have and haven't read.

Of all your excellent Worm snippets, this one is my favourite and I would not be at all upset if there was more of it. It's just got so much damn potential.

 

Its interesting, but let me make a case for Control, its basically Men in Black starring Taylor and Number Man. What is there not to love?

 

But which one is the straight man? Taylor is serious enough to be Tommy Lee Jones, but that would make Number Man into Will Smith.

It's a switch where Taylor and Jack were each born in each others place. It's only two chapters in but it looks promising so far, and I'm interested in seeing just how it will go.

Honestly all of them. But my favorites were definitely Wind, Black Knight, and the World in Shades of Grey. Wind especially though seemed really interesting.

 

I'm pretty sure this story has been mentioned before in this thread but I thought it would be worth mentioning again about Nematomorpha.

It's a story that focuses on Danny, and I know a few people don't like him but it's quite good. Danny, in the story, is a sort of tinker and is recruited by Coil. It has 6 parts out so far so it has a decent amount if you want to spend some time on something.

 

Just got finished reading it. Good story so far, I'm hoping it becomes active.

 

Weaver Nine updated, was a pretty cool little twist.

 

I never knew I wanted to read a fic like that until I was reading it. Very interesting premise and good writing. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

 

Copacetic updated. An OC interlude showing the aftermath of the Blight attack.

 

I like Copacetic less and less each time it gets updated. It's just so overly dramatic, some of the characters come across as pathetic (especially the girl that triggered from being asked a set of questions), the fact that an example suddenly became a youtube video with millions of hits bugged me, and Taylor is horrendously out of character.

 

Millions of hits in just a couple of hours. Ridiculous.

 

Only reason I think I'm even reading it, is because it's the only fanfic set post-Worm and I really want more of that. Copaceptic started building up alright in the first few chapters, and then just went completely downhill.

Her little performance had way too much impact. The word aura is used way too often. How she actually caused a girl to trigger because of that is just lame. Her demeanor as Skitter worked because of reputation and not just her speech ability.

Then the way she just breaks down and agrees to tell everything to Theresa? That was even worse.

Really, I think the focus of a post-Worm fic should be Taylor's own inner struggle of trying to do what her Dad wants and lead a normal life, and her own yearning to be involved in cape affairs again. She'd only get her powers back well into the story.

 

Ryuugi actually just started a post-Worm fic. It's a crossover, but his Taylor feels like Taylor which is always nice.
