Madara has not fought someone with all eight gates open. He says the "so called red steam". I cant wait for this bashing

 

I'm really feeling bad about Gai dying but I hope his efforts do something really damaging and Madara doesn't just fufufu his way out of it.

Kishi should just have the manga end with Gai killing Madara, and a fade to black with Rock Lee wearing Hokage Robes.

Shouldn't the fastest immortal zombie be helping Guy out instead of standing around saying how impossible it was.

Seriously I love that Guy is going One on one with Madara but at least show us that the others acknowledge the sacrifice he's making and are going to back him up not just stand there and look at him.

 

Considering he has no arms, can barely use any jutsu, fell over the last time he tried to help and nearly got Kakashi killed the time before that, he's probably better off just standing there. And he never said anything about it being impossible, just that he didn't want Gai to kill himself and was like whoa when he actually went and did it.

And the Gai's literally just got started so it's too soon to complain about no-one backing him up.

 

Who is this Green Beast you guys are talking about, I only see a Red Beast.

 

Why does it feel like that Gai sacrifice will amount to nothing in the end... With how thing are going, I can see Kishimoto have Madara just slap Gai aside...

 

Might Dai. They told him he couldn't become anything. So he soloed the entire Seven Swordsmen of Mist.

Jesus Christ the tears. Also, the tectonic plate-sized brick Mizugakure must have shat when they found whatever was left of the Swordsmen in piece around the body of a Konoha genin, assuming all the Youth raging through his body didn't just disintegrate him afterwards.

Did... Dai actually kill them, though? Unless I missed something, it looked like he just bought Gai and his teammates time to run.

 

Well we know that Kisame killed the big guy to get Samehada. So he at least survived. I suppose its possible he killed a few of them Like the Kubikukchiro guy or the others. Which might explain why Zabuza or the lightning sword changed hands.
Also where was Daddy Guy's name mentioned? I must have missed it in the MS translation.

I don't think Dai killed any of them. Bashed them around pretty good though before dying from overuse of the technique. I agree Minato seems pretty useless currently with all the hype that used to be about him.

 

Rock Lee is the Green Beast of Konoha, Gai is the Blue Beast. Get it right people.

On another issue.... How the heck is Gai now suddenly a ninjutsu cripple like Lee? We've seen him do the summoning jutsu before! AND water walking!

 

Can't begin to start with what's wrong with this post...

Firstly, green and blue are essentially the same word in Japanese, so to be accurate Gai is the green "beast," because, duh, he wears green.

Secondly, neither Gai nor Lee are "crippled," they're just balls at using chakra for ninjutsu or genjutsu. You might say they can't properly mold chakra externally. Manipulating that chakra internally, like all ninja do, is completely okay for them, which is why they can be as badass as they are when using taijutsu. And when opening gates.

 

PotterFan could be right. Might not be canon, but maybe the color of the beast is relative to the gates that Gai/Lee can open. Against Gaara, Lee was envolved by a green aura after opening the gates, at least in the anime, so he would be the Green Beast (were it three, four or five gates the he opened that time?). And the steam from the seventh gate is blue, Gai also mentioned of becoming a Red Beast. So, color coded chakra gates.

And yeah, after seeing the 'crippled coils' explanation hundreds of times in fanfiction I'll also go with the 'sucks so much at ninjutsu that may as well be incapable of using it' reasoning.

 

I will regain all respect for Kishi if he ends the manga by having Gai punch Madara so hard in the balls that the latter is erased from history.
