This sounds familiar ... by complete coincidence I have been going through my notes for a pre-Avengers HP/Natasha short story the first part of which is essentially what I posted a couple pages back.

You're just mad I didn't write more of the smut. It's cool, but it would have totally killed my present preference to ruin my own perfectly fine stories. My original idea was to have Narcissa realize it wasn't Malfoy, but let Harry finish anyway, and then tell him about it after the fact.

"I knew when you hit your knee on the stairs that you weren't my husband." She rolled her eyes. "He could navigate this house blind and you could barely stumble up the steps. He was drinking wine before bed, and you taste like black coffee."

Harry inwardly shrugged. He was staking out the place for a while, so a conjured cup of joe had held him over through the cold weather.

"Why didn't you mention it before?" Harry said, trying not to feel embarrassed that Narcissa had known the entire time.

"I realized," Narcissa said, her black lips kissing his throat once more, "that after all the times we've been broken into by dark wizards looking for an easy score, no man has so much as peeked into our room, much less given me a kiss... or an orgasm that curled my toes. I don't know who you are," she admitted, "but I don't care to know. I know you'll never tell, and if Lucius were to find out, I could always say I thought it was him. In the end, I wanted it to happen for my own pressing reasons." She grinned. "Namely, my pussy being wet."

He nearly snorted, but through sheer will he kept his face straight. "So," Harry said, elongating the word, "where do we go from here?"

She shrugged, picking up her robe from the floor and draping it back over her bare shoulders. "You're going to leave," she said, pointing to the door, "and I'm going to sleep. Do send my husband in when you're finished covering your tracks.

She turned and walked up the marble staircase and Harry sighed, a breath he didn't know he had been holding flying out of his maw. He had either been extremely lucky or Narcissa had known something was going on and had planned this out from the beginning. Something told him it was the latter.

He thought he preferred it that way.

Not aware. It does sound vaguely familiar now that you mention it.

I might take a shot at Harry/Astoria during Hogwarts.

 

It's not the lack of smut, per say. It's just that you wrote the fic as though it would be smutty, then didn't deliver smut, which made the ending feel really abrupt. Even with the added stuff.

 

It kind of goes with the thread. I didn't want to spend more than a couple hours on it.

There's a pretty awesome HP fanfic called "A boy an his cloak."

Sooo... I'm challenging someone to write "A girl and her veils." Obviously starring Molly and veils, but what beyond that, go nuts.

A boy and his cloak was a pretty damn solid fic, even if it was very vanilla. Especially cos of that. But that said, a lot of voyeuristic fun is to be had with that cloak and I don't feel it's been done enough.

Additionally, there need to be more Molly fics.

In topic of strange and slightly stupid pairings - HP fandom really needs smut with time turners, with the same character appearing twice. Say Harry/Hermione/Harry. Or Astoria/Harry/Astoria.

In case that somebody really wants me to produce something (it is a bad idea), I will use my backup plan that requires neither writing nor plagiarism - but for technical reasons challenge should be in the form of first words/sentence of the story.

Oh boy, that reminds me of that one smutfic where Hermione goes crazy with the time turner and liberal use of polyjuice, so much that she ends up impregnating herself and then has Harry conned into thinking it's his. It goes on for some more stuff, but you get the gist.

I've still yet to figure out how I actually came across that fic.
